The United States and Britain have once again supplied weapons to Ukraine

author:Strait Net

The recent series of security talks between Russia and the United States and the West have been fruitless, and the United States and the West have stepped up their efforts to play up the so-called threat of Russia's "invasion" of Ukraine. On the 17th, the United States and the United Kingdom both promised to provide weapons support to Ukraine, once again fueling the situation.

British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said on the 17th that the United Kingdom has begun to provide light anti-tank weapon systems to Ukraine, the first batch of systems have been delivered on the 17th, and a small number of British personnel will also provide corresponding short-term training to the Ukrainian side. On the same day, a team of bipartisan U.S. senators visited Kiev, the Ukrainian capital, and pledged to provide Ukraine with lethal weapons, which could include javelin anti-tank missiles, Stinger missiles, small arms and ships.

In the face of various provocations from the West, on the 17th, the Russian army conducted a tactical exercise in the Rostov region near the Russian-Ukrainian border. Exercise projects include engineering exploration, fortifications and mining.

Recently, the hype about the "collapse" of the situation in Ukraine has been heating up on the pages of the Western media. Recently, the New York Times even broke the news that the US government has begun to assume the so-called "fall of Ukraine", saying that the CIA will train rebels for Ukraine in Eastern European countries such as Poland, Romania and Slovakia.

In this regard, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov once again stressed after meeting with the visiting Croatian foreign minister on the 17th that Russia will not invade Ukraine and will not formulate policies based on the assumption of war.

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov: We don't make policies based on "if what happens," which sounds like something our Western counterparts do, and they basically threaten to impose sanctions on Russia at every opportunity.

Lavrov also said that there is no doubt that Ukraine is controlled by the United States and is a marionette in the hands of the United States, and the United States is fully capable of forcing Ukraine to comply with the Minsk agreement.

In April 2014, a large-scale conflict between Ukrainian government forces and civilian armed forces broke out in the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine. Through the mediation of the international community, the two sides reached ceasefire agreements in September 2014 and Minsk, the capital of Belarus, in February 2015. Since then, large-scale armed conflicts have been brought under control, but small-scale firefights have occurred from time to time. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the Ukrainian side has repeatedly provoked in the conflict zone and undermined the Minsk agreement. He urged the Ukrainian side to abandon its attempt to influence the situation in the Donbass region by force.
