Gansu, China, January 20 (Li Hongjun, reporter of this network) Recently, Chen Xiaobin, a young writer in our province, wrote a new work - the original revolutionary reportage "Faith - Xin'an Tour Group 1938" was officially published and distributed by the Readers' Publishing House.

The "Xin'an Tour Group" (hereinafter referred to as "New Brigade") is a youth revolutionary group founded by Wang Dazhi, principal of Xin'an Primary School in Huai'an County, Jiangsu Province, with new primary school students as the main body. At the critical juncture when Japanese imperialism was vainly trying to destroy China, the "New Brigade" aimed at popularizing education and propagating the idea of resisting Japan and saving the country, and publicized the party's propositions in the form of movies, speeches, songs, dramas, dances, writing, paintings, etc., arousing the masses to resist Japan and save the country, and mobilizing the people to actively resist the war. From its establishment to its end, the "New Brigade" lasted 17 years, traveled 50,000 miles, traveled throughout 22 provinces and cities, and successively absorbed nearly 600 members.

In 1938, the "New Brigade" came to Gansu, joined the Communist Party of China in the Eighth Route Army's office in Lanzhou, and became an advanced anti-Japanese organization under the direct leadership of the Party. The valuable experience of the "New Brigade" in Gansu has greatly sublimated their ideology and spirit, and they have truly established lofty beliefs and become strong fighting fortresses, laying a solid foundation for carrying out more comprehensive and profound anti-Japanese propaganda work in the future.

On May 20, 1946, Chairman Mao Zedong replied to the New Brigade: "Comrades of the Xin'an Tour Group: I am extremely grateful for receiving the letter! I wish you all to work hard, continue to move forward, and strive for the victory of democratic China. On May 30, 2021, after a gap of 75 years, General Secretary Xi Jinping replied to the Young Pioneers of Xin'an Primary School: "In that year, under the care and leadership of the party, the 'Xin'an Tour Group' was not afraid of hardships, and its footprints spread throughout most of China, using literature and art as a weapon to arouse the people to resist Japan and save their lives, publicize the party's ideas, and show the spirit of patriotic progress. I hope that you will study the party history well in light of the reality of your own growth, take the heroic and exemplary figures as an example, strengthen your determination to listen to the party's words and follow the party from an early age, study assiduously, establish ideals, improve your character, increase your skills, and strive to achieve the all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, and labor. ”

"Faith - Xin'an Tour Group 1938" is a 300,000-word book, using a large number of precious historical documents, like documentary lenses to restore historical scenes, record the glorious course of the "Xin'an Tour Group" in the difficult and difficult years, and reflect the group's social practice of joining the Communist Party of China in Gansu in 1938, establishing lofty ideals and beliefs, and extensively carrying out anti-Japanese salvation.

"Gansu is a red land. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the activities of the 'New Brigade' under the leadership of the Party in Gansu were important red cultural resources in our province. Deeply excavating and truly reproducing the history of the activities of the 'New Brigade' in Gansu is of great practical significance to strengthening the study and education of party history, inheriting and carrying forward the red culture, and strengthening the ideological and political education of contemporary young people. Chen Xiaobin said.
