On January 19, 2022, Li Jiankang, member of the Standing Committee of the county party committee and chairman of the county federation of trade unions, led the commerce and logistics bureau to the Municipal Port Logistics Office to report on the progress of the planning and construction of the Pujiang Railway Logistics Port, and Du Jinyou, director of the Municipal Port Logistics Office, Liu Shuguo, deputy director, and relevant responsible comrades of the Comprehensive Department and the Planning and Policy Department attended the meeting.

Comrade Li Jiankang thanked the Municipal Port Logistics Office for its long-term concern and support for the construction and development of the Pujiang Railway Logistics Port, and then gave a detailed introduction to the planning and construction of the railway logistics port in our county.

After listening to the report, Comrade Du Jinyou pointed out that as one of the logistics hub layouts of Chengdu's "four ports and six centers", the Pujiang Railway Logistics Port should be accurately positioned, planned as a whole, scientifically laid out, and clearly needed. The relevant modification suggestions were put forward for the planning of the Pujiang Railway Logistics Port, first, in accordance with the functional conditions of the container center station, strengthen communication and contact with the railway department, determine the scale of the railway infrastructure of the Pujiang Railway Logistics Port, and fully consider the layout of the railway transportation organization and the external transportation organization. The second is to further clarify the functional positioning of the port area from the aspects of external traffic road network and location-specific advantages, highlight the core functions, and integrate the Pujiang River into the national railway trunk line network on the basis of the construction of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway. The third is to refine the development layout, take the railway line and railway station as the core to do a good job in connecting multimodal transport facilities, and improve the functions of highway logistics and urban distribution. The fourth is to speed up the revision of the planning of the railway logistics port, and simultaneously start the preparation of detailed control regulations for the Pujiang railway logistics port. After the pujiang railway logistics port planning is refined and improved, the Municipal Port Logistics Office and Pujiang County will jointly promote the planning of the railway logistics port and report it to the Municipal Planning Commission for approval of relevant work.
