Nobel laureate and Chinese professor says COVID-19 vaccine is harmful? Just a typical example of making money and smashing pots with rhythms

author:Boiled vaccines

In the past two days, the anti-vaccine community has begun to hype up the anti-vaccine rhetoric and behavior of Luc Antoine Montagnier, a French virologist who has won the Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine, such as his claim that "the unvaccinated will save mankind".

People who don't know this person think that this person is an incompetent person (of course, at least the vaccine field is indeed a layman), but in fact this person has made a very big contribution in the field of AIDS.

Let's talk about his things, and maybe you'll see a great but expected "anti-vaccine guy":

(1) Co-discoverers of HIV (whether they are the first is controversial):

Once known as "homosexual-associated immunodeficiency (GRID)", Luc Montanier and other scientists worked together to isolate the virus, and although the correlation between the virus he isolated was not determined to be related to AIDS, it also contributed greatly to later AIDS and HIV-related research.

For this contribution, the Nobel Prize was awarded to him despite controversy over whether he was the first person to discover HIV.

(2) Strong supporters of homeopathy (pseudoscience):

In 1796, the German physician Samuel Hahnemann (Figure 2) proposed that substances that cause disease in healthy people can treat patients with similar symptoms based on the "law of miasma" at that time, for example, if you drink paraquat, there will be irreversible pulmonary fibrosis, and then homeopathic treatment is to dilute paraquat to the point where it is not visible and diluted with a solvent, using this diluent to treat other patients with pulmonary fibrosis.

Of course, this therapy has so far been ineffective at any known level of the disease, yet the Nobel laureate is a staunch proponent of this pseudoscientific therapy.

It is worth noting that in an interview with Science magazine, he also said that a first-class university in Shanghai was more open to his homeopathic research, so he was leaving his home country to set upshop in China.

(3) Believe that the new crown virus is manufactured in Chinese laboratories:

I believe that many people have heard the hypothesis about the new crown virus and HIV (really false), in fact, this scientist proposed it, because he believes that there are elements of HIV and malaria in the genes of the new crown virus, but in fact, it is very common for different organisms to have similar gene sequences, so this statement has no basis at all.

It is worth noting that the full-time professor who has found a new way to start a business in China is convincing that the new crown virus is from a laboratory in China (Figure 3), and I wonder if his supporters support this statement?

(4) Other bizarre remarks (Figure 4):

Although the scientist was the first to isolate HIV, which was not known at the time to be related to AIDS, he also had bizarre ideas in the field of AIDS, such as the use of such strange remarks as "dietary supplements and antioxidants can eradicate HIV in the body", which came from the Nobel Laureate's mouth, of course, the phrase "business and science have nothing to do" applies everywhere.

Other remarks include papaya's miraculous effect on SARS and Parkinson's disease, and children's vaccinations can lead to autism, which basically condenses the essence of many anti-vaccine leaders.

(5) Regarding the fight against COVID-19 vaccines:

Although Luc Montanier opposed COVID-19 vaccination, some of his remarks were actually made by others and attracted many fanatical anti-vaccine crowds, such as this sentence circulated on a foreign social media:

"For those who have been vaccinated, there is no hope, there is no treatment. We must be prepared to burn corpses. (There is no hope and no treatment for thosewho have been vaccinated already. We must be prepared to incinerate the bodies)”

But in fact, he did insist that vaccination would have an antibody-dependent enhancing effect (ADE) that has not been confirmed by substantial evidence so far, and did participate in the anti-vaccine march in Italy (in fact, the main opposition was the immunization pass system, that is, restricting the entry of unvaccinated people to public places), and claimed that the vaccine was a "toxic proteina tossica" (Figure 5) in milan.

It is also to say that in fact, the former Nobel Laureate did receive honors, but over time, he can be said to have overturned the car many times inside and outside his professional field, and even knew nothing about the information of vaccines, and also carried all kinds of private goods, and did things in China (making Chinese money, creating Chinese rumors).

But for the recent anti-vaccine campaigns and rhetoric in Italy, I have mentioned many times before about the various partisan struggles in Italy, one of which is the anti-vaccine march, in which politicians exchange votes.

Remember that this series of marches (Figure 6-7) was organized by the Italian politician Gianluigi Paragone

Figure 8: Just this guy, 2.99% of the vote

He set up his own party and worked Italy's Brexit. These actions are similar to the various marches that preceded the introduction of Italy's child vaccination bill (Figure 9), claiming to protect children's rights from vaccination on the one hand, and on the other hand, in order to win more votes and fight against the ruling party at that time.

Of course, no matter what kind of parade is to promote things like "love and rights", there will never be any innovation.

So the question is - these are tossing abroad for the sake of subversion, so what is the purpose of many anti-vaccine groups releasing anti-vaccine information at home? It may be that China's epidemic prevention is too successful and therefore too quiet.

As for science? Nobel Prize? For the sake of health? Don't be funny, it's all business.

May there be no plague in the world.
