On January 11, Xiong'an New Area's first batch of power grid projects in 2022 - Xiong'an 500 kV power transmission and transformation project, Starting Area No. 12 110 kV power transmission and transformation project, Xiongdong No. 1 110 kV power transmission and transformation project and other 15 projects started in a concentrated manner, with a total investment of more than 1 billion yuan. After the completion of the project, it will further build a world-class power grid in Xiong'an New Area, and provide a strong power guarantee for the new area to undertake the diversion of non-capital functions and large-scale development and construction in Beijing.
The reporter learned from the State Grid Hebei Electric Power that in order to build a green and strong smart grid in Xiong'an, the company has invested more than 10 billion yuan in the past five years. According to the plan, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period of the power grid in Xiong'an New Area, two 500 kV power transmission and transformation projects are planned. Among them, the Xiongdong 500 kV power transmission and transformation project has started in September 2020 and will be completed and put into operation in September 2022; the Xiong'an 500 kV power transmission and transformation project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in June 2024. After the completion of the two 500 kV power transmission and transformation projects, a 500 kV C-ring network will be formed around the western and northern parts of Xiong'an New Area, which will play an important role in meeting the demand for electricity load growth in the new area and improving the reliability of power supply.
"The Xiong'an 500 kV power transmission and transformation project will pilot the application of new modular construction processes, adopt internationally leading advanced technologies such as prefabricated steel structures and mirror clear-water concrete, implement the whole process of digital measurement, and strive to create low-energy three-star green buildings." In the past five years, Xiong'an Power Grid has built the first clean energy corridor in Xiong'an New Area - Zhangbei to Xiong'an 1000 kV UHV transmission and transformation project, put into operation 220 kV In Jucun, Hexi 110 kV transmission and transformation project, Hexi-Aowei line and other projects, digital active power grid demonstration project, the first distribution "double petal" high-reliability power supply demonstration project, Xiong'an high-speed rail station integrated energy project, Wangjiazhai new power system village-level demonstration project, etc. have been landed, and the power grid planning of Xiong'an New Area has gradually become a reality from blueprint to reality.
