Explore the "turning waste into treasure" of steel slag and pave a new way for green development. In the Lufeng connection line, there is a section of 724 meters long, 11 meters wide, and 645 tons of steel slag paved steel slag asphalt pavement, which is a test section of the performance-oriented steel slag asphalt mixture application technology research and technology project approved by the Provincial Transportation Department. The project used the mechanical properties of steel slag to be similar to that of rolled basalt, hard and wear-resistant, good particle shape, and good adhesion performance with asphalt, etc., to study the feasibility of replacing basalt as an aggregate of asphalt mixture. If steel slag is widely promoted and used in road construction and maintenance, it will be able to realize the recycling of industrial solid waste and reduce the impact of mining basalt on the ecological environment.
