Turtle Back Mountain, the first "hurdle" to the main peak, is named because it resembles a turtle's back. Looking at the towering mountain, the recruits couldn't help but be a little daunted. "It's nettle, also called 'bite grass', and the skin is as painful and itchy as a needle prick. Seeing this, Tong Yajun hurriedly took out soap and water, wiped it on Cao Yaxing's palm, and rubbed it repeatedly. After a quick treatment, Cao Yaxing's face gradually returned to normal. The team continued to move forward and finally climbed to the main peak of Kuolin Mountain. It is the season of flowers, and there are many "hero flowers" blooming around, and it is a fiery red as far as the eye can see. "Back then, the elder brother Yang Longhai stepped on a mine and died heroically during the battle on the main peak of Kuolin Mountain, and the younger brother Yang Longwen joined the army with his brother as an example, fought bravely on the battlefield to kill the enemy, and finally fell only 5 meters away from the place where his brother sacrificed. The blood-soaked land of the brothers is now full of bright and dazzling flowers. During the break, Tong Yajun affectionately told the recruits the story behind the "Hero Flower". The heroic brother's feat of treating death as if he were at home made the recruits' eyes moisten. The old squad leader Lu Bingzhang has been in the company for 12 years. The ancestors summed it up as: "Four bricks and one board are the bed, the four beams and the top grass are the house, there is no wall on all sides, the river water is drunk through the heart, the guards of the forest are the strongest, build the house first and then raise the wall, carry the brick by brick, and see the glory ......of the battle fortress." The fragrant epiphany always blooms in the quietest night, and the seeds of dreams sprout in the most barren ground. "The heavy mission has been pressed on my shoulders, and I am willing to integrate my youth into the mountains and rivers of the motherland!" On the way back, passing by the village at the foot of the mountain, the old squad leaders picked up rakes as usual to help the villagers take care of the dried corn, and the recruits also picked up tools to help.
