At the beginning, the collection of these Taihu stones did not cause turmoil in the world, most of them were collected in the southeast region, but as long as they were sent to the capital, Zhao Yu would give great rewards to the people who transported the stones, including high-ranking officials Houlu, at this time the emperor's actions were like a wordless order, which led to the emergence of some corrupt officials, the most famous of which was one of the six thieves during the Song Huizong period, Zhu Xun (miǎn).
At that time, Zhao Yao was obsessed with strange flowers and stones, and Zhu Xun, one of the six thieves, just threw in his favor, snatched the strange flowers and stones from the people and transported them to Beijing for Song Huizong to enjoy. One of them was that he transported a huge stone, Emperor Zhao Yao seemed to appreciate it very much after that, and even sealed this stone as Pangu Hou on the spot, to know that hou at that time was second only to the public rank, even Jiang Ziya accompanied King Wu of Zhou in the southern conquest of the northern war was only a marquis, which shows how much Song Huizong at that time loved the strange stone, and then made the Huashi Gang incident more serious!
Zhu Xun saw that the emperor paid so much attention to strange stones, and he became even more arrogant, so he set up the Ying Feng Bureau in Suzhou, mofei official money, and sought hundreds of tricks, taking advantage of the emperor's overhaul of the palace, racking his brains to search for all kinds of strange stones, and did not hesitate to dig graves and dig graves. He sent his subordinates Xu Zhu, Ying An Dao, and Wang Zhonghong to take advantage of the people everywhere without any compensation. As a result, the people were extorted, forced to contribute treasures, and even maliciously destroyed these "treasures", slandering the people for improper "custody", and many people were punished with abuse. Such exploitation and oppression of the people under the rule of the people, the civil uprising is the spark in the explosives, a little bit. The Fang La Rebellion arose at this time, they captured Song Dynasty officials, cut their stomachs and dug their hearts, and boiled people to light sky lanterns, which shows how deep the people's hatred for Huashigang is.
There were more and more Huashi gangs, and his officials were getting bigger and bigger. Some high-ranking officials and nobles, who dared not please Zhu Xun's good. But even though many upright people opposed Huashi gang, after all, they still failed to prevent Song Huizong and Cai Jing from arranging Huashi Gang's decision. This shows that there were indeed very serious problems in the politics of the Song Huizong Dynasty, but what is the way to do this, the emperor likes to love, there is no one who can influence it at all.
The floral class is a great scourge to the people of the southeast. Su Hang should be followed by the minions of the bureau, search around, randomly break into the homes of ordinary people, as long as a flower and tree are favored, they will be affixed with yellow seals, referred to as "royal objects"; in order to transport "royal objects", they often tear down the roofs of private houses and tear down walls. The emperor did not consider how difficult it was for these stones to come, and only cared about his own pleasures, and the ministers headed by Cai Jingtong guan thought that there was a lot of oil and water in them, and they could please the emperor. Those who dared to write a letter of impeachment against Hua Shigang were also suppressed or killed by them, so where else would anyone dare to write a letter? Emperor Shangao was far away, and the emperor was not very clear about what was happening outside, and the people's resentment gradually accumulated, which became one of the important reasons for provoking the Fang La uprising. Unable to bear the looting, Fang La began to gather crowds to rebel. Emperor Huizong of Song asked Tong Guan to deal with it, and Tong Guan found out that it was caused by Huashi Gang, so he suggested that Song Huizong abolish the corresponding local institutions and Huashi Gang.
Each piece of "Gengyue Relic Stone" can be said to be the best Taihu stone selected by Emperor Huizong of Song in those years, helplessly shamed by Jingkang, the destruction of the country and the family, these rockery stones that once made Emperor Huizong proud were also reduced to the trophies of the Jin people. After Yan Liang moved the capital to Yanjing, most of the Taihu stone from Bieliang was moved to the current Beihai Park in Beijing, and some of the stones were left behind and returned to Jiangnan.
