Paris, 19 Jan (China News Network) -- On 18 January, the Chinese Embassy in France issued the "Notice on Adjusting the Inspection Policy for Personnel Transiting to China from Third Countries."

The notice said that recently, the number of domestic cases imported from France to China has continued to increase, and many flights have been circuitized. In order to further improve the prevention and control of the new crown epidemic, according to the latest domestic epidemic prevention regulations, starting from February 1, 2022, all personnel transiting from a third country to Charles de Gaulle Airport in France must undergo two nucleic acid tests at airport testing institutions and cancel serum antibody testing. The appointment method remains unchanged, and there is no need to change the appointment. After arrival, the transit passengers are requested to take two samples in accordance with the requirements of the testing agency, and the two nucleic acid tests are negative, and they can apply for a health code to go to China. The relevant policies for personnel flying directly from France to China remain unchanged for the time being, and the "nucleic acid + antibody" test is still applicable.

The relevant requirements for transferring from a third country to France to China are hereby reiterated as follows (in the event of a conflict with the previous relevant notice, this notice shall prevail):

1. Personnel originating from direct flights to China from the state, please do not transfer to China through France, otherwise they will not be able to obtain a health code.

2. Transit personnel must apply for a health code from the Chinese embassy or consulate in the local area before departure, please consult the local embassy or consulate for relevant policies. Upon arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport, you must complete the "double nucleic acid" test at the airport and then apply for a health code from our museum. Please pay attention to the selection of the testing agency labeled "Charles de Gaulle Airport" and fill in all the itinerary information truthfully. For those who have not obtained the health code of the Chinese embassy or consulate in the place of origin, our embassy will not issue a health code.

3. When purchasing a ticket in the country of origin, a person coming to France must make a real-name appointment for transit testing at Charles de Gaulle Airport in France at the same time, and the website is https://www.parisaeroport.fr/zh-chs/%E4%B9%98%E5%AE%A2/%E6%9C%8D%E5%8A%A1/reserver-en-ligne/tests. Upon arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport, you will be tested with your passport, ticket and booking confirmation. If the transit time is less than 10 hours, the airline will not sell tickets for the time being. Please pay attention to the opening hours of the testing center and read the relevant terms and conditions of sale carefully. The airport hotline for Charles de Gaulle is 0033-170363950.

4. Passengers who have a positive nucleic acid test result during transit should be isolated in strict accordance with the requirements of the airport, and the relevant expenses should be borne by themselves.

5. The test report of Charles de Gaulle Airport is an electronic version, please download the electronic version of the report and upload it in time after receiving the SMS or email, so as to avoid collecting the paper version from the testing agency. The airport reminds you to use a mobile phone number that can receive text messages in France to avoid multiple people sharing a number so that the test report cannot be downloaded. If you do need to receive a paper version, please ensure that the shooting is clear when uploading.

6. In order to prevent cheating on behalf of the inspector, Charles de Gaulle Airport and China Airlines implemented a bracelet identity authentication system. Please wear a bracelet at the testing agency and cooperate with the airline when boarding. If the bracelet is damaged and the boarding is not allowed, it must be re-tested and rebooked.

The Chinese Embassy in France once again solemnly reminds that the recent Charles de Gaulle Airport testing agency has detected a large number of nucleic acid-positive transit personnel every week, and the imported cases from France to China remain high, and the risk of infection during the journey should not be underestimated. All passengers must be well protected throughout the process, wear masks strictly, reduce personnel gathering, reduce external contact, and reduce walking around to avoid cross-infection. When drinking water and eating during the journey, you should pay special attention to protection and should not be taken lightly. (End)
