During the Xiantong period of Emperor Yizong at the end of the Tang Dynasty, there was a big merchant named Wang Kejiu in Luoyang City, Henan Province, who had been walking the rivers and lakes for a long time, buying and selling goods, and the business was very prosperous. In the ninth year of Xiantong (868 AD), the Guilin guards led by Pang Xun revolted and returned to their hometown of Xuzhou to fight against the officers and soldiers for a long time. In this way, the normal commercial activities in the Central Plains were greatly damaged. Wang Kejiu's Zan's goods were lost in the war and displaced, unable to return home.
Wang Kejiu's wife, PanFu, was anxious and went to find a mr. Gua Gua named Yang Qianfu to take advantage of people and ask about her husband's life and death. Yang Qianfu was a bad guy with a vicious heart, and he was ostensibly very dedicated to calculating for the king's wife. Secretly, he was plotting to harm others and benefit himself, one was to see a little bit of the posture of the king's wife, and the other was to covet the rich family wealth that Wang Ke had accumulated for many years. After pretending to look at it, he pretended to be shocked and said, "Oh, no, your husband's fate is not good, and he wants to come back again!" The king's wife sang in grief and lived as hard as the bones of her lord's heart. Subsequently, Yang Qianfu began to implement his second-step plan. He secretly bribed a matchmaker with a lot of money to trick his wife into remarrying him. In this way, in a short period of time, Wang Kejiu's wife and silver fell into the hands of Yang Qianfu. Overnight, Yang Qianfu changed from an empty-handed seller to a rich man with ten thousand family assets.
The shugu rebellion lasted for two or three years, and with the fall of Xuzhou, the center of the rebels' activities, it finally failed. At this time, Wang Kejiu had nothing and was exhausted. Fortunately, the road was clear, and he begged for food, and after all the hardships, he returned to his hometown. He came to his house in rags and saw his wife. When the wife saw this, she was so frightened that she almost fainted. In order to protect his vested interests, Yang Qianfu put on a rogue and villainous face, shouted to catch the thief, broke his mouth and scolded, and falsely accused Wang Kejiu of coming to deceive and occupy his family property. He viciously drove Wang Kejiu out of the house.
At this time, Wang Kejiu's wife woke up, she recognized Yang Qianfu's sinister and vicious, ran to the county court crying and crying, and told the original local story of Yang Qianfu's deception and property. However, at this time, Yang Qianfu was already able to take the money that Wang Kejiu had accumulated to deal with Wang Kejiu, and he paid bribes everywhere, so that all the local officials who bought the corrupt and perverted the law all sided with him, and Wang Kejiu was frustrated and blamed everywhere. Wang Kejiu was not satisfied, appealed again, and the result was that he was frustrated again, and even convicted of false accusations. Wang Kejiu was wronged, had nowhere to go, was filled with grief and indignation, and cried and blinded a pair of eyes.
Finally looking forward to the change of Yin in Henan Province, the new official Cui Jie took office, and Wang Kejiu struggled to file a complaint. Cui Fuyin listened carefully to his story, and after repeated understanding, he understood the truth of the matter. He immediately ordered the messengers to unexpectedly arrest Yang Qianfu and put him in prison, and then removed all the officials who had accepted bribes and perverted the law in the past from their posts and investigated them, and convicted them of their treachery and evil deeds one by one, and all those who should be killed were put to justice. Wang Kejiu's wife and property naturally returned to Wang Kejiu's side.
