On January 18, DJI officially announced that DJI's first dual-channel wireless microphone system, DJI Mic, was officially launched at a retail price of 2299 yuan.
According to reports, DJI Mic is a compact, lightweight, powerful wireless radio system, consisting of a dual-channel receiver and two wireless transmitters, which can achieve a wireless radio distance of up to 250 meters. Both transmitters can record simultaneously, whether it is vocals, ambient sounds, or instrumental sounds, they can be clearly recorded. Both transmitters have built-in storage and can be used as voice recorders alone, or they can back up sound while recording to ensure recording data integrity.
The World Wide Web has also previously obtained a prototype of DJI Mic, and has been used by colleagues in news interviews, program recording, live broadcasts and other scenes. In noisy environments, even in venues where wireless interference is severe, this set of microphones also has good radio performance.
In addition to being able to be paired with DJI's action camera Action 2, the DJI Mic receiver supports USB-C, Lightning, and 3.5mm TRS interface outputs, making it compatible with mainstream mobile phones, cameras, and computers. This is especially useful when streaming live and when multiple devices need to be used together.
The transmitter has a back clip design and is equipped with magnetic accessories that can be easily attached to clothing, and the receiver can be attached to the cold shoe/hot shoe with the help of a hot shoe adapter plate for flexible installation; the transmitter and receiver weigh less than 30 grams, making it very easy to carry; and a special tote bag can easily hold all the accessories.
The most common accessories such as transmitters, receivers, adapters, etc. can be stored in the charging case, which is smaller than the palm of the hand, and can be put in the whole pocket when shooting outside.
Previously, colleagues have encountered insufficient power when using other brands of microphones to broadcast live, and DJI Mic's battery life is much longer.2 When fully charged, the transmitter lasts up to 5.5 hours and the receiver lasts up to 5 hours. When used with a charging case, both the transmitter and receiver can last up to 15 hours.
