Common mode inductor is an important filter piece in the charger, used to suppress common mode interference, common mode inductance is two symmetrical coils, wound on the same ferrite ring core, for common mode signals, magnetic fluxes in the magnetic ring are superimposed on each other, showing a large inductance, thus playing a role in inhibition. There is no attenuation of the differential mode signal, which plays a role in common mode suppression. It has a very wide range of applications in fast charging and notebook power supply.
Our common-mode inductors are the above two, both of which are widely used in chargers.
The first has the advantage of low cost, but the inductor pin that is directly induced is easy to bend and deform during transportation, resulting in automatic plug-ins not out of feet when the charger is produced, and the plug-in is difficult, resulting in rework and other effects. At the same time, the paint removal position of the enameled wire during wave soldering is different, resulting in different solder positions, which is easy to cause abnormal pressure resistance, virtual welding and air welding.
Another common scheme is to use a welded fixed base, where the common mode inductance copper wire is welded to the pins of the base. This scheme has good consistency, and the pins are not easy to deform, and there is better insulation, but the device process is complex, the cost is higher, and the production efficiency is lower.
