At CES 2022, Unity, a global real-time 3D platform service provider, announced a partnership with Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. to build a "Metafactory" to create a new meta-cosmic route and platform.
The "Meta Factory" is a digital twin concept of a physical factory supported by the Metacostem Platform. With the introduction of the "Metafactory", Hyundai will be able to test multiple scenarios in a virtual environment to evaluate, infer and create optimal driving conditions without the need for on-site employees.
The partnership will create a real-time 3D virtual platform that provides more comprehensive services to Hyundai's broad customer base, such as sales, marketing, and customer experience. This means that consumers will be able to digitally try, test and engage with a variety of automotive solutions before switching to real cars.
