Just when Cheng Haojie was working in the melting pot of the troops and overflowing with passion, in response to the call for national disarmament, he took the initiative to ask to retire from the army and return home to work as a farmer. After retiring from the army, he began his own entrepreneurial journey: as an office clerk, as a plumber, as a captain of an anti-corrosion engineering team, as a music calligraphy training class, and as a small drink shop.

Chinese liked stones, called beautiful stones jade, compared gentlemen to gentle jade, and said that jade has nine virtues. Just like a standing soldier loves a gun, Cheng Haojie loves stones, and he doesn't know how many times he can play with these seals and stones in his eyes. What he wants to do is not to engrave, but to awaken. Through the art of seal engraving, the souls of these stones are awakened and given life.
Cheng Haojie did not build a car behind closed doors, ten years of military camp life and these years of experience, broadened his horizons, strengthened his heart. Over the years, he has studied under mr. Xu Hanshan, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the main lecturer of the Calligraphy and Painting Printing and Printing Class of the Hanshan Painting Museum, the special tutor of the Calligraphy and Painting Advanced Study Class of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, the distinguished lecturer of the Painting Institute of Chinese Min University, the visiting professor of Jilin Normal University, and Mr. Qiao Guofangzhu, a famous teacher in Changyuan, under the guidance of the teacher, his style, works and practices have been strengthened, and he has gradually formed his own artistic style.

The artistic charm of Hanyu seal engraving is both rigorous and interesting. In his study, Cheng Haojie strives to reflect the "original ecology" of ancient jade seal carving, not only pays attention to finding laws, but also is good at discovering the richness of meaning and rhyme, grasping the realm of divine change and untouchability in the seal carving tradition, and gradually forming the Cheng style of "ingenuity and uniqueness and calmness" that he pursues. He also pays special attention to "dividing Zhubu white", his use of prints, reasonable layout, proper density, and there is an indescribable beauty in the staggering.
The book is printed in, while obsessed with seal printing, he also insists on calligraphy creation, his words are clean and free, exuding a light atmosphere, providing a steady stream of living water nourishment for his seal engraving art.

Over the years, Cheng Haojie, in addition to his hard work, was obsessed with seal carving, and carved his life feelings, experiences, and sorrow and joy into that stone.
