Subsequently, Xiao Liu released information on behalf of major social platforms and used his own code to "grab" vaccines.
However, the hospital soon detected an anomaly in the system.
Hospital staff found that most of the patients who successfully made an appointment for the nine-valent vaccine in their hospital were registered through scalpers, and there were traces of damage and interference in their hospital systems, so they immediately went to the network security department of the Nanchang Municipal Public Security Bureau to report the case.
After receiving the report, the police quickly filed a case for investigation and locked the criminal suspect Xiao Liu.
After police work, on the evening of December 26, 2021, Xiao Liu surrendered himself and confessed to his illegal behavior.
At present, Xiao Liu has been taken criminal compulsory measures by the public security organs in accordance with the law for the crime of damaging computer information systems, and the case is still being further handled. At the same time, the police have stepped up their crackdown on other "vaccine snatching" scalpers.
In this regard, the police prompted:
1. Make an appointment for vaccination through official channels, and go to a regular hospital or community health service center for vaccination.
2. Do not blindly believe in "proxy robbery, proxy reservation service", there is a risk of fraud.
3. Do not disclose personal information lightly, and do not transfer appointments privately to strangers.
4. It is a crime to grab seedlings by destroying the computer system! The consequences are serious! Don't try it yourself!
