On January 15th, the Invitation Exhibition of Contemporary Art Documents of The Third Dimensional Art Artists was held at the Jiang Wenzhan Art Museum in Nanhai New District, Weihai. The exhibition features works by 80 artists from all over the country, as well as from Japan, Germany and other countries and regions, and will run until February 19. Art lovers can enter the museum for free.
"This exhibition is a large-scale documentary exhibition, a review of the contemporary platform exhibition of 'Great Artists' in the past five years, combined with the large-scale contemporary art document album 'Pictures of New Contemporary Art in China', to show the appearance and effectiveness of the third-dimensional art that has been promoted in recent years." Jiang Nan, one of the curators and executive director of Jiang Wenzhan Art Museum, said that the works in this exhibition are rich in artistic language, diverse in art forms, full of artistic "dopamine", and also reflect the artistic state nourished by different living environments, which can make the visitors feel the sunshine of art in the cold winter, warm and powerful.
"Walking into the exhibition hall and admiring the works, you feel the fresh vitality coming to your face." Yang Liangbo, chairman of the Artists Association of Weihai Nanhai New Area, sighed after watching the exhibition. "What touches people's hearts is the best works of art, and appreciating these works allows us to broaden our horizons, break some of our habitual thinking, and see more imaginative ways of artistic expression, which is intoxicating and lingering." Wei Hongshan, one of the curators and a contemporary visual artist in the UK, said that visitors can feel that the creative thinking of each artist is very active and vivid, and these artists have injected vitality into contemporary art. The reason why this exhibition is positioned as "third-dimensional art" means that the first dimension is the artists' association and academic art atmosphere, the second dimension is the market-oriented art atmosphere, and the third dimension is the art platform outside the first and second dimensions.
While visiting the invitation exhibition of contemporary artists' contemporary art documents, the majority of art lovers can enjoy the paintings and cultural relics collection of Jiang Wenzhan, a representative painter of contemporary Chinese flower and bird painting, and the ink treasure inscription collection forest in the Jiang Wenzhan Art Museum. In addition, interested art lovers can also go to the Kunlunzi Art Museum on the north side to see more than 200 paintings and thangka collections by the famous Chinese contemporary painter Kunlunzi. At the same time, the Xing Liangkun Art Museum of the East Hall exhibited the pottery master Xing Liangkun's large-scale palace lamp hanging ball ceramic sculpture series, the rotating cylinder series of works and the human body ceramic sculpture series, and more than 100 cartoons by Yu Changwei, a local cartoonist in Weihai Nanhai New Area, were exhibited in the Changwei Comic Museum.
In the process of high-quality development, Weihai Nanhai New Area pays attention to strengthening cultural construction, building a cultural and artistic front, and building a cultural city.
