The Japanese burned and looted

Xiao Wanshi's spear soon came in handy, it was a very hot summer day, Xiao Wanshi and several soldiers were ordered to carry out reconnaissance missions, and when they passed a large river, he saw a Japanese squad bathing in the distance.

Eighth route army
Since then, "fighting a war without dying" has become Xiao Wanshi's label. He was indeed bold, and once, when he sneaked into an airfield heavily defended by the Japanese army, he made a new contribution, leading a squad of fighters to blow up seven or eight enemy planes in a row.
In mid-April 1938, the Japanese army could not withstand repeated losses and gathered heavy troops to encircle and suppress the Eighth Route Army. Hundreds of people under the 772nd Regiment were besieged by the Japanese regiment in a village, and the soldiers fought fiercely with the Japanese army for several days and nights, paying huge casualties, and finally only a few dozen people broke through the siege.
Although Xiao Wanshi survived, he was shot in the left chest and seriously injured, and finally he was carried out of the pile of dead people by his comrades-in-arms.
During the operation, there was a lack of anesthetics, and in order to prevent him from moving, the doctor had to tie his hands to the pillar first, and then use a metal wire to clean up the debris that seeped into the chest cavity, Xiao Wanshi was in pain and cold sweat, and the body muscles trembled uncontrollably.
Even so, after suffering from great pain, due to the limitations of the conditions, two pieces of shrapnel could not be cleaned out of the body, and it was always with Xiao Wanshi to grow old.
Everyone may remember that Li Yunlong, the male protagonist of the TV series "Bright Sword", was originally the commander of the 772 regiment, and later due to mistakes, he was demoted to battalion commander, after the expansion of the Eighth Route Army, he was transferred to the new regimental commander, because he did not obey the superior command in the battle with the Bantian United, he was demoted again by the chief, and was directly assigned to the garment factory as the director of the factory.
Xiao Wanshi is a Li Yunlong-like figure, brave in battle, but also loves to cause trouble, and has been punished three times in his life.
The first time he was punished was in 1938. At that time, Xiao Wanshi had just been promoted to platoon commander and was ordered by his superiors to escort 12 Japanese officers to the regimental headquarters. The soldier who stabbed the devil wanted to stand up and admit his mistake, but Xiao Wanshi did not allow him to do so, he thought that he was a platoon leader, and the soldiers below made mistakes, which was his responsibility. Japanese prisoners
The second punishment was the seizure of opium in Zhaotong.

The third punishment was to become the director of the food bureau after being discharged from the army.
After the founding of New China, as the domestic situation gradually stabilized, Xiao Wanshi felt that he was no longer needed on the battlefield, so he responded to the call of the state to retire to Lei Bo County as a grain station chief.
In the early 1960s, due to the severe natural disasters in various places, grain production was greatly reduced, and many people were starving, and at this time, a staff member of the grain station went to the grain depot to steal grain because there was no food at home, and as a result, he was arrested by the security section and locked up.
After investigation, Xiao Wanshi found that this person's family was indeed very difficult, there were two old people with flower armor, three children under him, and his wife was not in good health, so he took the master to let the person go, and also took some grain to him. This is indeed an act of good intentions.
However, according to the rules and regulations, it is a serious dereliction of duty, so Xiao Wanshi's resume has another disciplinary record.
Veterans don't die
These three sanctions brought a great impact to Xiao Wanshi, and in the end, he retired from the position of deputy director of the Grain Bureau, if there were no these sanctions, he would certainly be able to go to a higher post, and many people regretted him.
However, Xiao Wanshi did not think so much, he said that he was kind in heart and could not see others suffering. He also never considered personal gains and losses, did not ask for the organization, did not mention his credit to others, and lived a satisfying and comfortable life.
Just like Li Bai wrote in his poem, he whisked his clothes away and hid his merits and names deeply.
