In the spring of 1900, the Swedish explorer Sven Hedin was exploring the western part of Lop Nur when his Uighur guide, Aldik, was disoriented by a storm when he returned to the camp to retrieve his lost hoe. But the resourceful and brave Uighur guide, with the faint moonlight, not only returned to the original camp to mold the lost hoe, but also found a tall stupa and dense ruins, where beautifully carved wood was half-buried in the sand, and ancient copper coins. The ruins discovered by Aldik in the darkness of the night, after excavation, confirmed to be the ancient city of Loulan.

Hearing the name Loulan for the first time, it gives people a very aesthetic feeling, the name is fresh and vulgar, very good. The name Loulan first appeared in the Book of Han, which recorded "Shan Shan Guo, real name Lou Lan". Loulan is located in the Hexi Corridor and is a necessary place for the Silk Road. The Kingdom of Loulan lasted for more than 800 years from its founding before 176 BC to its demise in 630 AD. The territory of the kingdom stretches from the vicinity of Guyangguan in the east, to the ancient city of Niya in the west, to the Arjin Mountains in the south, and to Hami in the north. However, over time, this kingdom gradually disappeared from the world. Exactly why it died out remains a mystery to this day.
As for "Breaking Loulan", "Chopping Loulan", "Killing Loulan"... And so on, which are incompatible with "Loulan", I checked it, and they are basically from the hands of Tang Dynasty poets:
Li Bai: Willing to put the sword under the waist and cut it straight into Lou Lan.
Du Fu: When the country returned, Lou Lan was not returned.
Cen Shan: Hun drove the Great Wanma, and took the King of Loulan.
Wang Changling: Huangsha wears golden armor in a hundred battles, and does not break the Loulan and will not return it!
Zhang Zhongsu: Meritorious shame counts the number of lives, and directly cuts Lou Lan to repay the favor of the country.
Weng Shuo: The rampant marquis, who beheaded Lou Lan to offer Wei Yang.
Why did only the poets of the Tang Dynasty have to live with "Lou Lan"? I speculated about it, and I guess it was such a mentality: during the Tang Dynasty, we were one of the most developed countries in the world. We are the Heavenly Dynasty, and the literati of that time will inevitably seek a resonance of historical ideas (just as we now, as long as we are culturally nostalgic, the first thing that comes to mind is the Tang Dynasty). Tang Dynasty poets have a deep Han complex, are all Iron Fans of the Han Dynasty, and especially like to use the Han Dynasty tang in their poems. Although by the time of the Tang Dynasty, Loulan had been wiped out for hundreds of years, this did not prevent them from expressing their ambitions by borrowing strong men who were "far away and will be punished".
During the Western Han Dynasty, Loulan was only a "country of the city", far inferior to the great powers of the western region, such as Dawan, Wusun, Kangju, Daxiaoyueshi, Anzhi, and Bactria. However, as an important transportation hub to the western region, Loulan has always been a strategic location for the Han Dynasty and the Xiongnu to compete. In order to survive, Lou Lan ostensibly attached himself to the Han Dynasty, but behind his back, he was not clear with the Xiongnu, helping the Xiongnu to murder Han envoys and rob Han Dynasty merchants. Emperor Wu of Han had always been wise and decisive, and naturally did not like the villains of Loulan, so he immediately sent troops to clean up Loulan. Lou Lan naturally could not reach the thighs of the Han Dynasty, and finally could only bow to the Han Dynasty. But just after pacifying the Han Dynasty, the Xiongnu sent troops to fight, and Lou Lan could only be a vassal on both sides and continue to make poor sandwich biscuits.
Because Lou Lan's rebellious behavior offended the public anger of the literati, among the poets of later generations, Lou Lan became the object of their conquest. Located in the north, Loulan can also be used as a representative of the nomadic peoples in the north. The northern nomads have always been enemies of the Central Plains Dynasty, so poets borrowed the killing of Loulan to express their ambition to serve the country.
From the perspective of contemporary people, looking at the Tang Dynasty poets and Lou Lan, it is inevitable to feel a little inexplicable, why not go through with a small country with egg balls? In fact, this is the national complex, which is the best explanation for the national self-confidence of the strong Han Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty - we will never bully others, but we will never allow anyone to play me arbitrarily! This is a bit like the heartfelt disgust of our countrymen for the Japanese at present!
In fact, the connection between China and Japan is very deep, during the Warring States period, China called Japan a uighur, in addition, China often used Fuso to represent Japan. During the Tang Dynasty, japan and China were more frequently linked, and because japan believed that there was a discriminatory view of the wu character, it demanded that our country be renamed. Wu Zetian gave the name Japan. So the name "Japan" was given to them by China!
It's just that this Uighur country really doesn't know how to be grateful, and watching our country weakened and the people poor after the "Opium War," they launched aggression again and again, really taking advantage of your illness to kill you; "World War II" was crippled, and they followed the Americans as dogs, and from time to time they came to bite us, how can we treat such a country squarely? It is said that this time it is necessary to help the United States besiege "Huawei", which is a pity how China can help them during the "epidemic".
