The core stack of hydrogen energy bus operation comes from Shanghai Hydrogen Chen New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a local enterprise rooted in Lingang, whose newly developed 230kW product has completed performance testing and is currently the world's largest fuel cell stack.

The data released at the just-concluded Two Sessions of Pudong New Area is eye-catching: since the listing of the Lingang New Area, the construction has accelerated, accumulating more than 970 newly signed projects with a total investment of more than 500 billion yuan, and the new track of the layout of emerging industries has become a new target of Lingang.

"Lingang-made" the world's largest power fuel cell stack will come out

From the main urban area of Lingang along the newly built Lianggang Avenue Expressway, it will soon reach the China-Japan (Shanghai) Local Development Cooperation Demonstration Zone, with fuel cell cooperation as the starting point, where joint research on key technologies of hydrogen energy is underway to create a cooperation platform for R&D and manufacturing in the new energy industry.

The development of hydrogen energy and fuel cell vehicles has become a global consensus, and fuel cells are the "power source" of this future car. The stack composed of hundreds of panels "hand in hand" is not only the core of the fuel cell to generate power, but also the "golden key" to reduce the cost of the vehicle.

From the school's basic research projects, to the continuous testing of the science and technology innovation platform, to the establishment of a company in cooperation with Lingang Group, the hydrogen energy research and development road of The Xinmin team of Shanghai Jiao Tong University has spanned 15 years. "The market demand is high power, long distance, low cost, fuel cell stack development trend should be from the original extender or small power to the full power mode change." Lai Xinmin told reporters that the development of high power density, high power output, long-life operation and low-cost manufacturing of vehicle stacks is the original intention of the entire scientific research team since 2005, and its ultimate goal is to let new energy vehicles equipped with metal bipolar plate stacks run on the highway from the production line.

Hydrogen Chen Technology continues to invest more than 100 million yuan in research and development funds to develop a new generation of H3 technology and 230kW stacks. "The development of 200kW-class high-power metal plate stacks is not an extension of the number of pieces or area, but requires the reconstruction of the material system, simulation system, manufacturing system and control system." In the manufacturing and quality system, it is necessary to break through the key technologies of rapid component inspection, intelligent matching, size chain control and efficient stacking, and achieve the Six Sigma standard for fuel cell manufacturing.

Lingang New Area is working on the hydrogen energy industry, building an "international hydrogen energy valley" and creating a leading area for hydrogen energy development. Hydrogen Chen Technology is building a domestic first-class and internationally renowned hydrogen energy industrial park with an investment of 10 billion yuan and a 100 billion yuan industry for the new area, and undertakes the task of supplying high-power fuel cells.

Create an industrial chain of "1000 km endurance of electric vehicles"

Through parallel development and cross-border joint research, the team integrates many industry-leading intelligent cutting-edge technologies to achieve a new height of industry "intelligence" and create a new generation of intelligent network new terminal products.

Support Tesla's production capacity increase and phase II construction, accelerate the implementation of the functions of the R&D center, support SAIC Zhiji Automobile to make breakthroughs in the middle and high-end fields, and accelerate the research and development and commercial operation of intelligent and connected vehicles. This year, the new area will focus on new growth points such as automobile "three electricity", automobile power, and automobile support, strengthen the nearby supporting of parts, and create an industrial chain of "1,000 kilometers endurance of electric vehicles".

Aerospace is also one of the key frontier industries in Lingang New Area. Aviation Development Shanghai Commercial Aero Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has always set its sights on the aero engine, which is known as the "crown jewel" of modern industry. On the first working day of the new year, the large aircraft park located in the south area of Pudong Airport ushered in the start of the final assembly supporting project. In 40 months, 19 single-storey factory buildings and 2 multi-storey factory buildings will be erected. This project is adjacent to comAC assembly base, focusing on the layout of airborne, power system and other upstream and downstream industrial chains, forming a "door-to-door" final assembly support.

In the past year, the cutting-edge science and technology industry in Lingang New Area has accelerated its agglomeration, the output value of the new energy automobile industry has exceeded 100 billion yuan for the first time, and the energy level of key industries such as integrated circuits, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, civil aviation, and high-end equipment manufacturing has been accelerated, and its industrial scale will also grow rapidly with the completion and operation of a large number of projects.

The rapid development of industrial clusters has made the underlying soil for policy innovation more abundant.
