Ye Maozhong, the godfather of Chinese advertising and a well-known marketing planning expert, died in Shanghai on January 13, 2022 due to terminal cancer, at the age of 54.

Professor Ye Maozhong is China's "David Ogilvy", once served as CCTV advertising strategy consultant, Tsinghua University Distinguished Professor, was selected as "China's Top Ten Marketing Experts", in 2008 was named "China Advertising 30 Years Outstanding Contribution Award". In 2021, the authoritative list of the brand planning industry "2021 China Top Ten Marketing Planning Companies" evaluated and released by the "China Brand Planning Industry Research Association" was announced, and Professor Ye Maozhong ranked first.
