Donkey Kong is an absurd comedy released in 2016.
This film adapted from the drama of the same name by Happy Twist, which earned 172 million at the box office at a cost of 15 million yuan five years ago, still maintains a douban 8.3 points after 5 years, and is still known as "the strongest movie of Happy Twist".

Although the plot of "Donkey Got Water" is very simple on the surface, it tells the story of a group of rural teachers in a special period, who constantly cover up old lies with new lies in order to embezzle public funds, and finally make one joke after another.
But because this is an absurd comedy, in the obvious storyline, the audience can find a lot of clues hidden behind the camera through the director's foreshadowing, make up the unmade content, and think about the metaphors contained in it.
Among them, the landlord believes that the most repetitive content in "Donkey Got Water" is what Zhang Yiman, played by Ren Suxi, has experienced?
In the movie, we can see that Zhang Yiman is a seemingly debauched woman with a very open concept of life.
At the beginning of the story, she shows a different side through her high-forked cheongsam, full of yellow strips and bold personality.
When the others were at a loss for the surprise inspection of the commissioner, she was thinking of being intimate with the coppersmith, and without saying a word, she had to "sleep" others, so that the audience was not happy to clearly perceive that this was not a "simple" corner.
What is even more surprising is that after "pajamas" old Pei and the coppersmith, in the face of their true confession, Zhang Yiman was not moved at all, but insulted the other party with words.
Careless in the face of things, single-mindedly concerned with the affairs of men and women; no feeling for love, only the pursuit of physical pleasure.
Why is Zhang Yiman's personality so different from ordinary people?
The film explains through Zhang Yiman's mouth, who said when rejecting Lao Pei's confession:
He is a "person who longs for freedom and does not want to be disciplined", so he chooses to come to a deserted mountain village to "release himself".
In this way, Zhang Yiman seems to be a cynical and emotional "scumbag" without a doubt.
But is this really the case?
Although Zhang Yiman behaves like a "scumbag" in behavior, she still retains the beautiful side of a quiet woman.
She likes to pick flowers to decorate her room, so much so loving that she doesn't look like a person with confused feelings at all.
She liked to design and cut clothes herself, so virtuous that she didn't look like a cynical person at all.
She likes to enjoy music and has a high degree of artistic accomplishment, not at all like a dusty woman who only thinks about men and women.
Even after going crazy, she is still full of hopes for a beautiful wedding, which shows that she still yearns for love in her heart.
Therefore, it is not difficult to see that before Zhang Yiman became a "scumbag", she must have experienced something that greatly stimulated her.
From Lao Pei's rebuke of Zhang Yiman, it can be known that before Zhang Yiman followed the principal to the countryside, he committed an accident in the city and had no place to stay, and it was the principal who took her away because he took pity on her.
Although it does not conflict with her own words "to come for freedom", one is forced and the other is voluntary, and the situation is slightly different.
From Zhang Yiman's various abnormal performances, it can be inferred that this incident may be the direct reason for her to become a "scumbag".
What exactly Zhang Yiman did in the city, the movie did not explain in the end.
But at the end of the story, after a gunshot, Zhang Yiman's room was specially set up for a slow motion.
By observing the furnishings in the room, we can find some clues to speculate on Zhang Yiman's experience before becoming a rural teacher.
The room was very girly, with a painting of two women in wedding dresses placed prominently on the dresser, and many portraits of beautiful women pasted at the head of the bed.
Based on these two clues, the landlord believes that two hypotheses can be put forward about Zhang Yiman's past:
<h1>First, Zhang Yiman is a lace edge, and he falls for "revenge"</h1>
This conspicuous portrait of a same-sex wedding dress on the dresser can be easily reminiscent of Zhang Yiman is a lace edge
In the war-torn years of 1942, whoever had such a sexual orientation was doomed to not be accepted by society.
Zhang Yiman had a great future as an intellectual, but because his unusual orientation was exposed, he was ostracized and ridiculed by the people around him, and once became a "marginal person".
The old principal pitied her for her suffering and regretted her talent, so he took the opportunity of building a rural school to take Zhang Yiman out of the city and shelter her.
However, after Zhang Yiman was "exiled" to the countryside, her mentality was much worse than before, and she used a debauched demeanor to "retaliate" against heterosexuality, while living a life that was not restrained but had no soul, until she exhausted the beautiful desire for life at the end of "Donkey Got Water" and raised a gun to end the rest of her life.
This hypothesis explains why Zhang Yiman knew that the coppersmith had a wife and had to "alarm love", because she was laughing at heterosexuals with her actions, proving that the so-called love was not enough.
It also explains why when the commissioner lists the "stains" of the people, she will frankly say " What is wrong with me?" "Because in her heart, she didn't do anything wrong at all, what was wrong was that she couldn't accept the general environment of her own orientation."
However, there is one thing that does not justify this hypothesis:
If Zhang Yiman is a lace side, why should she cut off her hair and be merciful when she first said goodbye to the coppersmith?
Just to ridicule heterosexual words, Zhang Yiman has achieved his goal even if he does not send his head to the coppersmith, and there is no need to go to great lengths to leave a thought on the other party and add trouble to the future.
Looking at the picture of the coppersmith holding his hair and singing love songs to Zhang Yiman, I even thought at one point that the two would eventually break through the obstacles and eventually become lovers, after all, the scene was too ambiguous.
To this end, the landlord combined other elements of Zhang Yiman's room and proposed a second hypothesis:
<h1>Second, Zhang Yiman longs for true love, but the emotional wounds are too deep and like to escape from reality</h1>
The beautiful woman posters posted on the wall are from the old movies "Soul Break Blue Bridge" and "Women" according to the landlord's research.
The former tells the touching love between an officer and a ballet dancer, and the latter tells the funny experience of how the heroine wins back her husband from her love rival.
The landlord believes that it is no accident that these two posters appear in Zhang Yiman's room, so if the plots of these two movies are combined, will it be Zhang Yiman's experience before he came to the countryside to support teaching?
According to Zhang Yiman's artistic accomplishment, the landlord believes that she is very likely to engage in art-related work in the city, and the positioning is similar to that of Mara played by Vivien Leigh in "Soul Breaking Blue Bridge".
According to the plot of "Soul Breaking Blue Bridge", she is most likely in love with an officer, and the two even reached the point of talking about marriage.
But the officer is not as dedicated as Roy, played by Robert Taylor.
According to the plot of "Women", I guess Zhang Yiman found out that her fiancé had an affair with other women on the eve of the wedding, and she chose to tear her face on the spot, resulting in the wedding not being held.
However, because the officer is a figure with a head and a face, in order to maintain his reputation, he controls public opinion and beats a rake, slandering Zhang Yiman as a debauched woman, making Zhang Yiman the object of thousands of fingers.
After experiencing such a failed love in the city, Zhang Yiman was disheartened and fled the sad city with the principal.
Although she has lost confidence in love, she still yearns for a sincere feeling in her heart, so she shows a very complicated psychology:
When alone, she hopes to use her debauchery to disguise her fragile heart of longing for love;
When love is within reach, the painful memories of the past make her eager to push away the person who likes her.
Therefore, whether it is Pei Kuishan, who is bogu tongjin, or a simple and kind coppersmith, they cannot understand Zhang Yiman's complex and fragile heart, so they are doomed to not be her true destiny.
Even under Zhang Yiman's deliberate estrangement, both of them became the people who hurt her because of love and hate, which was really lamentable.
Compared with the story of hypothetical "darkness", the landlord prefers zhang Yiman to experience the tragic story of hypothesis II before becoming a rural teacher, but because it is a stage play or a movie, the script of "Donkey Got Water" does not give a definite answer.
Therefore, in the case of "a thousand Hamlets in the hearts of a thousand people", even the lead actor Ren Suxi cannot be completely sure that the role of Zhang Yiman occurs outside the script, which also leads to the fact that even after 5 years, Zhang Yiman is still the most "memorable" role in "Donkey Got Water".
I am a wooden branch of the dangerous building, what do you think about "5 years later, Zhang Yiman's experience in "Donkey Got Water" is still an unsolved mystery"? Feel free to leave your comments below.
