Exposing the mystery of the Qing Palace, the emperor instructed the tanuki cat to change the prince, whether it was something out of nothing or a real thing

This is the "Tanuki Cat for Prince" that was included in the "Four Doubtful Cases of the Qing Palace". However, like many secret stories and legends of the Qing Dynasty, it is far from the historical facts, in fact, before hongli was born, Yin Chan had already had four sons, although the first three were unfortunately premature, but according to the teeth of the third ranked Hongshi was already eight years old, only three months younger than Hongli Hongzhi was about to be born, and he was only thirty-four years old at the time, in his prime, he could continue to have children, there was no need to steal other people's sons.

Moreover, at that time, Yin Chan's battle with other brothers was already quite fierce, and if such a thing as stealing someone else's son was exposed, the political enemies would definitely use it as a pretext to attack him. According to the Haining Chen family genealogy, Chen Yuanlong had a wife and two concubines, and had a male and two daughters, but the second daughter was twenty-four years older than Hongli, so it can be seen that in real life, Yin Chan could not perform the bag drop drama of exchanging women for men.

Judging from the relevant records of the Qing Palace archives, there is no doubt that Hongli is Yin Chan's parent. He was born on September 25, 1711 in princely residence of Prince Yong, the mother of the Niuhulu clan, originally the fifth son of Yin Chan, the fourth son, and because his three older brothers had died prematurely, he was actually Yin Chan's second son. At this time, it was less than two years before Yin Chan was promoted to prince, and it was at the time when Kangxi was deposed and the crown prince was restored, but when the status of the prince was still in jeopardy, many princes, including Yin Chan, wanted to seek a reserve position, and if Yin Chan still had only one son under his knees, it would inevitably look thin and unfavorable to his struggle for the reserve, so Hongli's birth did add weight to his struggle for the reserve.

The imperial family of the Qing Dynasty attached great importance to education, and Hongli went to school at the age of six, and was employed by Shuji Shifumin from the age of nine. As the first enlightenment teacher of Hongli, Fumin has a straight personality and a strict and serious teaching attitude, and Hongli is quite grateful for this, believing that when he "rushes to the age of Confucianism", it is mainly derived from Fumin's "enlightening power". Hongli himself was also clever and clever, and from an early age he had the ability to recite with his eyes, and by the time he was thirteen years old, he had "read poetry and books, four sons, and memorized not a word."

This super memory of Hongli may come from the grandfather's generational inheritance. Kangxi once said that all the books he read, even if there is a gap between the sun and the moon, will not be forgotten. By the time Kangxi was old, although his memory had declined, he still knew exactly what he wanted to find somewhere in a certain volume of a certain book, and instructed the attendants to take it, without error. In his later years, Kangxi often lived in Changchun Garden on the western outskirts of the capital, and in order to make it convenient for the crown prince and his confidants to accompany them, he gave them many gardens in western Beijing to live in, and gave Yin Chan the Yuanmingyuan, which was later famous.

The Yuanmingyuan was originally a deserted private garden of the Ming Dynasty, and it was not until the Qing Dynasty that it became an official garden again, but the initial scale was still very small, and Yin Chan made some construction of the Yuanmingyuan after being given, and by the last year of the Kangxi Dynasty, the garden had been repaired in a very decent way. One of the forty views of the Yuanmingyuan, the Peony Terrace (later renamed The Moon Kering Cloud) was built during this period, the main hall of this platform was built by XiangNan wood, and the two-color glazed tiles on the top of the hall were built into a pattern, thus creating a golden and brilliant effect, but the most attractive thing about the whole attraction was not the appearance of the building, but the peonies on the ground in front of the temple, and it was through these peonies that Hongli got a good opportunity to be close to his grandfather.

Kangxi has always loved peonies, it is said that he can identify ninety different varieties of peony flowers, in April 1722, it was the time when peonies were in full bloom, thousands of peony flowers in Peony Terrace competed to open, competing for beauty, at the request of Yin Chan, Kangxi went to Peony Terrace twice in four consecutive days to see the flowers, during which Yin Chan officially introduced the then twelve-year-old Hongli to Kangxi.

Three generations of grandchildren, or three heavenly sons across time and space, magically gathered together. Kangxi fell in love with this imperial grandson as soon as he saw Hongli and decided to take it back to the palace to raise him immediately, which was a very important moment in Hongli's youth, and Hongli, who later became emperor, specially erected a stone stele at the site of the Peony Flower Festival, engraving the deeds of the two grand events to commemorate it.
