Zhang Shizhu's father, Zhang Jingji, joined the party in 1947 and participated in the Battle of Huaihai, and because of his culture, he was elected as a cadre in the south. He served as a district secretary in Wanxian City, Sichuan Province.
Due to the age, some of the green brick foundations have been replaced by red bricks
The original surname of Zhang in the village is Yan, is a descendant of Fusheng Yan Hui, according to research, from the early years of Ming Hongwu Di Circle Village, there are two major families of Yan and Tao in the village, in the next few hundred years, the villagers surnamed Yan changed to the Zhang surname of "ZhangKou Eating Peach" because of the harmonic pronunciation of "salt afraid of Tao".

According to the village's "Di Circle Chronicle", the Yan family has always advocated culture and re-educated. We know that "cultivation is the foundation of health maintenance, and reading is the art of entering the body". Reading for oneself to make up for deficiencies, reading for people can benefit the world. According to word of mouth, there is a "study room" in the Ming Dynasty Diquan Village. But when the study began, there is no written record. In 1871 (the eleventh year of Qing Tongzhi), the Fusheng Cultural Academy was a testimony to the history and culture of that time, leaving a rich historical and cultural heritage for the village.
Fusheng Cultural College is a "family school" built by Zhang Shizhu's ancestors in his home, whose ancestors were local rich gentry and rich lords, and hired famous teachers to teach their children. Students are the children of brothers and relatives and friends of their own clan. Later, with the passage of time, the descendants slowly opened up the family school and began to enroll children from poor families, and the number of students was generally between 10 and 20. Students are not limited in age, generally between 7-12 years old. Schoolchildren vary in age, academically, and there is no distinction between grades. According to records, the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Yan family of The Yi Dynasty, the five major branches, the Jinshi origin, the township tribute and the first 73 people, are listed in the government register. Diquan Village enjoys the reputation of "Caizizhuang" in Binzhou and Zhanhua area.
Now approaching this old south house, its architectural features are bungalows, four south houses, the doorway gate faces south, the green brick foundation, the adobe wall, the wooden beam rafter structure, there are square purlins, wooden door panels, the gate is brick inlaid doors, part of the brick carving decoration, because the old house outside the green brick foundation appears alkaline, after liberation was withdrawn for part of the red brick, brick inlay doorway and brick carving decoration pattern is still Ming and Qing style, but the green brick carved deer head on both sides of the door has long fallen off, and the door hanging on the gate is still the same as it was one or two hundred years ago.
These four old houses, one is currently Zhang Shizhu's old man's kitchen, the other is the old man's storage room, although the south house is considered a partial room, but the beams are very thick, the wooden purlin is very strong, the old-fashioned doors and windows that remain are still Ming and Qing style, because of respect for the wishes of Zhang Shizhu's old man, in the village tourism development, this old house still maintains the original life of the old man.
