Beijing News Express (reporter Pei Jianfei) On January 14, the reporter learned from the press conference on social traffic demand management measures for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Olympics that during the Winter Olympic Games, the restriction on the tail number of motor vehicles in Beijing remained unchanged, and the new holiday work day restriction before the Spring Festival was added.

Wu Shijiang, member of the party group and deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission, said that the tail number restriction measure currently being implemented is valid until April 3, 2022, covering the entire winter Olympic traffic service guarantee period, and this measure will be implemented as usual during the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

This year, the Spring Festival holiday arrangements have been announced, and I will work on January 29 (27th of The Waxing Moon) and January 30 (28th of the Waxing Moon). The traffic department analyzed the traffic situation on the working days of the previous small and long holidays, because of the unlimited traffic, the traffic congestion situation is significantly higher than the restricted weekdays, when the Olympic special lane has been opened, and the traffic situation in the city is not optimistic. Therefore, the tail number restriction measures still need to be implemented in these two days.

Since the holiday is the third and fourth day of the first lunar month, corresponding to Thursday and Friday, the january 29 (Saturday) is limited to Thursday tail numbers 2 and 7, and January 30 (Sunday) is limited to Friday tail numbers 3 and 8.
