Frozen lubricating oil

This was an absolute challenge for the Germans. Because the German army was not equipped with antifreeze equipment and low-temperature lubricating oil specifically to deal with the Soviet Union, the lubricating oil was frozen in the cold conditions, the gun shells were stuck, the shells did not sound, more than 500 tanks froze, more than 900 trucks were scrapped, various faults appeared in an endless stream, and even before each war, the solidified lubricating oil had to be cut down with a knife to reload the shells.
