The traditional play "Three-Star Blessing" choreographed by the Yuexi County Gaolu Inheritance Center was selected for the 2022 Farmers' Spring Festival Gala in Anhui Province, which is the only intangible cultural heritage program selected in Anqing City.
Yue Xi Gao's "Three-Star Blessing" tells the comedy story of Fulu Shou's three-star coming to the human world to bless and give life for everyone. The drama is festive and lively, and is deeply loved by the broad masses of the people. Yuexi Gao cavity belongs to the local rare drama species of Yuexi County, and is the remnant of the Qingyang cavity, the first generation of sound cavities formed in the land of Anhui in the Ming Dynasty and influenced the whole country. Yuexi Gaolu has an important position in the history of Chinese opera, and is called a "living fossil" in the history of opera by opera experts, and was listed by the State Council as one of the first batch of national intangible heritage lists in May 2006.
