On January 12, the second phase of the Quanzhou Bay Avenue project was successfully opened to traffic, which also marked that the Quanzhou Bay Avenue project had been completed and opened to traffic.
It is reported that Quanzhou Bay Avenue has the reputation of "Quanzhou version" roundabout road, is one of the "five vertical and five horizontal" backbone road network in Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone, starting from the east bridgehead of the Houzhu Bridge, connecting Hui'an Shanxia, with a total length of 21.4 kilometers, the project is divided into two phases of construction, the first phase of the project has been completed and opened to traffic last year.
The second phase of the project is invested and operated by the Fifth Bureau of China Construction, with a total investment of 3.2 billion yuan, which is a provincial and municipal key project, the project starts from Pier 16 of Taiwan Business District, and is located at the interchange on the east side of the Houzhu Bridge, integrating transportation, economic construction, flood control and tide control, tourism and other functions. The total length of the road is 11.35 kilometers, which is the main road of the city, the main road adopts 8 lanes of double lines, the auxiliary road adopts 4 lanes of double lines, the whole design is free of traffic lights, and the maximum speed of the main road can reach 100 kilometers per hour, which greatly improves the traffic convenience rate of Taiwan business district.
The completion of the project has further improved the regional road network of Quanzhou Taiwan Commercial District. Since then, scenic spots such as the central urban area of the Taiwan business district to the Eight Immortals Cross-sea Large Amusement World, Chongwu Ancient City, and Moon Bay can be reached within 30 minutes at the earliest. Not only that, there are also coastal landscape tourism resources such as Banyue Bay and Baisha Bay along the project line, as well as natural wetland resources such as Baiqi Lake, Fushan Lake, Luoyang River Estuary, etc., and more economic hotspots such as cbd commercial core area and blue ocean economic zone are planned, and after the road is opened, it will further activate the "artery" of tourism and economic development in neighboring areas, bringing obvious economic effects.
