It is reported that the Quanzhou Bay Avenue project is not only a three-level key project in the Taiwan Investment Zone of Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, but also the largest municipal road project in Fujian province. The project is based on mountains, seas and lakes, integrating transportation, economic construction, flood control and tide control, tourism and other functions, and is an important part of the "five vertical and five horizontal" backbone road network in Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone. The road grade is the urban main road, the linear type adopts the first-class highway index, the design speed of the main road is 80km/h, and the design speed of the auxiliary road is 40km/h, of which the east-west avenue - north-south avenue main line two-way 8 lanes + auxiliary road two-way 2-lane standard, north-south avenue - Zhangzhong four main line two-way 6 lanes + auxiliary road two-way 4-lane standard.

The total investment of the second phase of the Bay Avenue project is 2.57 billion yuan, starting from the ring highway, and finally the east end of the Houzhu Bridge, with a total length of 6.77 kilometers, the width of the road red line is 59 meters to 72.5 meters, the road grade is the city main road, the linear type adopts the first-class highway index, the design speed of the main road is 100km/h, and the design speed of the auxiliary road is 40km/h. The successful completion of the project opening ceremony marks that the project has officially possessed the ability to deliver and operate, and in the future, it will take the fastest 30 minutes from the central area of the Taiwan Investment Zone to the famous scenic spots such as The Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, Chongwu Ancient City, Luoyang Bridge, etc., and only 45 minutes to the central area of Quanzhou's main cities and counties, which has greatly improved the traffic convenience rate of Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone, improved the regional road network of Quanzhou Taiwan Business District, and helped to build the status of "Quanzhou City New Center" and the 228 coastal scenic road of Fujian Province's more than 1,000 kilometers of national highway 228 to promote the development of local tourism. It plays an important role in the formation of the Quanzhou Bay Metropolitan Circle and the development of the economic belt on the west bank of the Strait.
Since the start of construction in August 2019, the project has worked hard for three years, achieved good results, and hardened into gold in 891 days, creating a series of miracles with an output value of more than 100 million yuan in 8 consecutive months, a single-day maximum output value of 13.68 million yuan, and a single-day maximum concrete pouring of up to 7,000 square meters, and achieving major node goals such as the full-line pull-through, sectional acceptance and completion acceptance of the Baiqi Bridge, U-shaped trough and frame bridge on schedule with "bay speed".
