Starting in 2022, Geely Design Studio in Warwickshire, Uk. has a new name, Lotus Tech Creative Centre Limited (LTCC), which will drive the transformation of the Lotus brand into a global business.
Lotus Technology & Creative Center GmbH is a world-class automotive design organization involved in design strategy, exterior interior design, user interface and user experience, visual design, engineering, digital and physical modeling, color, materials and more. The team will be the first to create a new all-electric high-performance SUV for Lotus, the Type 132, followed by the first pure electric sports car Type 135, four-door sports car Type 133 and a small SUV Type 134.
Designer Ben Payne, who is the leader, said: LTCC is not just a traditional car design studio, its philosophy is inspired by start-ups and creative agencies. Our vision is to foster a culture where different creative minds meet, transcend classic automotive structures and processes, and inspire each other.
