Today (January 12), Red Star News reporters learned from the Chengdu Municipal People's Government that the eighth batch of municipal cultural relics protection units and protection areas (a total of 25 places) in Chengdu were announced, including 4 ancient ruins, 9 ancient buildings, 7 important historical sites and representative buildings in modern and modern times, and 5 cave temples and stone carvings. The Tang and Song Dynasty ruins of Zhengke Jia Lane, located near Chunxi Road in Chengdu, are also among them.

According to statistics, by January 2022, there will be a total of 639 cultural relics protection units at all levels in Chengdu: 41 national key cultural relics protection units, 109 cultural relics protection units in Sichuan Province, 186 cultural relics protection units in Chengdu, and 303 district (county) level cultural relics protection units.

I. Ancient Ruins (4 sites)

(1) Chengdu Ancient City Wall (Shuidongmen Section, Qinglian Lower Street Section, Huaxing Road Section, North Bichang Section, West Bichang Section, Lower Tongren Section, Middle Tongren Road Section): The scope of protection is the area occupied by the cultural relics itself.

(2) Tang and Song Dynasty ruins in Zhengke Jia Lane: The scope of protection is the site itself.

(3) Tang and Song Dynasty drainage ditch sites in Industrial Street: The scope of protection is the site itself.

(4) Si'an Zhai site: The scope of protection is the site itself.

II. Ancient Buildings (9)
