In terms of design, the overall design style of Song MAX DM-i is similar to that of Song MAX DM. It follows the BYD family-style Dragon Face design style. The difference between the front face is that the chrome trim strip connecting the "Song" car logo is flatter and the overall feeling is stronger. The fog light area has also been outlined with black trim strips, and the lower enclosing area has been outlined with silver frieze to make the front face more layered.
The 2022 Song MAX DM-i launched the "Deluxe Upgrade Roof" version, the height of the car is 1880mm, and children can stand and walk in the car. The three-dimensional surround atmosphere light on the top of the luxury upgrade, the indoor light in the top middle adopts a long strip design, the space performance is improved, and the seat layout is available in six or seven seat versions.
In terms of power, Song MAX DM-i will be equipped with a 1.5L Atkinson cycle engine dedicated to Xiaoyun-Plug Hybrid, with a maximum thermal efficiency of 43%. The engine has a maximum power of 81 kW (110 Ps), a peak torque of 135 N·m, and a peak power of 145 kW for permanent magnet synchronous motors.
