However, because of his misconduct, the minister could not look down, so that he had only been emperor for 27 days and was deposed by someone. When the new emperor succeeded to the throne and the assistant chancellor Huo Guang died, Liu Que promoted Liu He to the rank of Marquis of Haixia.
