Intel NUC Mini Machine Change: The 12th Generation Core Civilian Edition is gone

Intel recently disclosed a new generation of NUCs based on 12-generation Core processors and Arc Ruixuan graphics cards, including at least three Dragon Canyon, Serpent Canyon, and Alder County, the former will also use a separate socket for the first time, which can be freely replaced and upgraded processors.

From the perspective of product line division, Dragon Canyon will be named NUC 12 Extreme, and Serpent Canyon will correspond to NUC 12.

This is not all members of the NUC 12 family, but according to the latest news, Intel has canceled the "NUC 12 Perfromance" that is more mainstream and more affordable.

If that's the case, and considering that nuc 11 Panther Canyon has been discontinued, mainstream users who prefer this minicomputer will lose an optimal option.

In fact, the main focus of Intel NUC 12 will be turned to gamers and commercial users, for the latter launch of "NUC 12 Pro", code-named "Wall Street Canyon" (Wall Street Canyon).

NUC 12 Pro will have five versions, including three vPro vPro editions, the processor uses i7, i5, and two non-vPro normal editions, the processor can choose i7, i5, i3, and there are high version (SATA hard disk), low version (M.2 SSD) two forms.

In other respects, the NUC 12 Pro will also have an SDXC/SD Express reader, an HDMI 2.0b (4K60Hz), and an HDMI 2.1 (8K60Hz).
