Korean media announced the 2022 LCK player TOP10: Faker sixth, DK Nakano top two

The 2022 LCK Spring Games are underway, and in this rapidly changing LCK League, there are some players who have proven themselves to be the best in the league – some even the best in the world. Here's how Korean media ranks LCK players for the 2022 Spring Season.

(Ranking in order, a total of 10 players on the list)

10th place: kiin

Korean media announced the 2022 LCK player TOP10: Faker sixth, DK Nakano top two

For some time now, Kiin has been considered one of the best orders in the world. While his results may not have been the best, the AF (now renamed KDF) relies heavily on Kiin's ability to lead his team in a pinch — and many times Kiin has saved them from destruction.

This year, Kiin has a brand new teammate, and in the current LCK version centered on the following road, the addition of Teddy has greatly helped both the team and Kiin himself. If Teddy can play the peak performance, Kiin can get rid of the pressure of carrying the team all the time, and there should be a good performance when the pressure is low.

Ninth place: ruler

Korean media announced the 2022 LCK player TOP10: Faker sixth, DK Nakano top two

As the only player left on last year's Gen.G list, Ruler has been proving why he's one of the best ADCs the game has ever known. One of his notorious weaknesses is that he doesn't play the game no matter how the version changes, but from gen.G's first game of the season, Ruler came up with Ryan Giggs, which proves that he knows how these kinds of heroes play and can play well.

Gen.G was one of the biggest winners of the offseason because they signed a lot of big names. With a star-studded lineup, Ruler will be able to show why his name is always mentioned when discussing best ADC. They had a very gorgeous record in the regular season in the first week, and now they are second in the league with four consecutive wins, and last week they beat DK. If this continues, Ruler's future shines brighter.

Eighth place: Doran

Korean media announced the 2022 LCK player TOP10: Faker sixth, DK Nakano top two

Last year, Dolan was like an untamed wild horse, frantic and aggressive all the time. He's like nuguiri in 2019, but he lacks operations compared to nuguiri. After reuniting with some of his old teammates in a brand new, different style team, Dolan's operations seem to have improved considerably. Although KT Rolster's results were not satisfactory, Dolan's name always came up when fans discussed who was the best hitch in the league. With better operations and a better team, Dolan will rise to the top.

There is a saying among Korean fans: "Nuguri is gone, Doran is the king". In his first week at LCK, Doran was steady, like he was already a veteran, and now, some fans say. "Even if Nuguri is here, Doran is the king".

7th place: BDD

Korean media announced the 2022 LCK player TOP10: Faker sixth, DK Nakano top two

Speaking of the Tsar, it is natural to think of BDD, a player whose achievements with Faker have become famous for their achievements in this hero. While some may belittle Bdd's ability to be a singles player as a result, he has proven that he is only a good singles player in general.

His performance at the 2021 World Championships is memorable and Bdd is the biggest reason Gen.G reached the semi-finals. Heading into 2022, Bdd was traded to NS, which, although losing in the first game of the season, quickly got back on track and moved on. On a personal level, there aren't many players who can match Bdd's greatness, even after all these years.

Sixth place: Faker

Korean media announced the 2022 LCK player TOP10: Faker sixth, DK Nakano top two

Legend faker has been missing out on the champion in recent years, but he has never given up. Last year, he led a (almost) all-rookie team to the semi-finals of the World Championships, and this time, all of them came back with more experience.

It's often said that Faker has become a loser, but the world champion has bounced back at the highest level every time, offering the best he can offer. Just before the Spring Games, Faker's Vigus had won 22 straight games in the ranks. In the first week of LCK, Faker's Vigus also scared opponents and had to ban.

Sixth place may seem a little stingy for the demon king who can't be killed, but also expect Faker to prove that our view is wrong.

Fifth place: gumayusi

Korean media announced the 2022 LCK player TOP10: Faker sixth, DK Nakano top two

Since the beginning of his career, Gumayusi has always been confident in his abilities. He was a hot rookie at the beginning of 2021, but from the middle of the summer he strengthened his strengths to become the T1 starter. At the World Championships, he competed in all competitions and helped T1 to the top four.

Gumayusi has now gained more experience, and the following-up-the-road-centered LCK division is what Gumayusi has been waiting for, and he is better prepared than others. With him going to play with GOAT and a squad packed with youngsters, 2022 will be the year Gumayusi flew higher.

Fourth place: Keria

Korean media announced the 2022 LCK player TOP10: Faker sixth, DK Nakano top two

"The Genius Monster of History" is the nickname that Korean fans gave Keria at the beginning of his career, and Keria has lived up to that nickname ever since. He was selected three times in the regular season – even in the 2021 LCK Spring Games, T1 only finished fourth.

Keria's operation is nearly perfect, and his hero pool is more like a vast ocean, making Keria immune even to variations. He plays like an experienced veteran, yet he is only 19 years old. The only thing Keria lacks is a championship.

Third place: chovy

Korean media announced the 2022 LCK player TOP10: Faker sixth, DK Nakano top two

Like Keria, Chovy has never won a major title, but he is still considered one of the best players in the world. With great talent, Chovy has been playing at the highest level since his debut. Even in an unfavorable match, Chovy can take the lead in the opponent's knife, and in team battles and operations, Chovy seems to be able to see a minute or two in advance.

In 2022, Chovy joined GEN. In previous years, his teammates may have dragged him down, but the new Gen.G more or less guaranteed his high performance. Chovy will surprise people again and again this year because he will win no matter what the game is, and he will continue to play highlights.

Second place: Canyon

Korean media announced the 2022 LCK player TOP10: Faker sixth, DK Nakano top two

Canyon is rapidly approaching what has been called the best wild gamer ever. Following his 2020 World Championship and Finals MVP, Canyon won the title in the next two LCK seasons and finished second in two international competitions in 2021. Dwg KIA's rise began in Canyon, and when he didn't perform well, the team got into trouble.

From field-playing routes to team battles and teamwork, Canyon has been playing at the top level since the summer of 2020. He even had a time in the middle, where he proved himself not only to be a great player, but also a great player. Canyon is back in 2022 with the old guys on the middle road. He will regain the throne more resolutely than ever before.

First place: showmaker

Korean media announced the 2022 LCK player TOP10: Faker sixth, DK Nakano top two

Along with Canyon, ShowMaker is also recognized as one of the best players in the world. As DWG KIA progressed, he became the darling of any tournament he attended, and ShowMaker was a player the team could always rely on. The word vast isn't enough to express his pool of heroes — in 2020, ShowMaker even tried to use 91 different heroes in the ranks. ShowMaker's partnership with Canyon will be stronger than ever, and he will set sail for more of the championships he craves.
