NuC 12 Extreme mini machine overseas pre-sale from $1699

Last month, Intel officially released the NUC 12 Extreme mini machine, code-named "Dragon Canyon", with a 12th-generation Core processor. Now, this mini machine has opened pre-sale on the overseas Simplynuc platform.

In addition, the NUC 12 Extreme adopts the exact same overall design as last year's "Beast Canyon", which is a small chassis of about 8 liters, and the front panel skull light effect panel can be customized. For this minicomputer, it can be installed with dual slots and comes with a full-length PCIe x16 discrete graphics card with a maximum length of 12 inches (305 mm), and this time it has been upgraded to PCIe 5.0. In addition, its memory is DDR4-3200, the maximum frequency can reach 3200MHz, and the maximum capacity is 64GB.

For this minicomputer, the biggest change is the first support for replaceable and upgradable CPU processors, the standard PBP (processor base frequency power consumption) 65W 12th generation Core, optional 16 cores 24 threads i9-12900 (8P+8E), 12 cores 20 threads i7-12700 (8P+4E).

Currently, the i7 version starts at $1,699 (about 10,740 yuan) and the i9 version starts at $1,899 (about 12,000 yuan). Among them, the i9 version was shipped as early as April, and the i7 version was undecided, but unfortunately, there is no further release information in China.

Let's wait.
