At that time, the governor of Zhili, Cai Jue, played a fold to the Yongzheng Emperor, who described a strange thing in detail when he approved the fold. It happened on the third day of October in the third year of Yongzheng, when a tiger came to the place outside the Qihua Gate of Beijing, which is the place outside the Chaoyang Gate of today's Beijing. When the people found the tiger, they quickly reported to yamen, the commander of the infantry who was in charge of public security.
By the time the officers and men arrived, the tiger had already run into the reeds of Hanoi outside the city. So the officers and men stood nearby. Unexpectedly, in the middle of the night, the tiger suddenly sprang out and went to the city from the East Gate, "straight from the city to the front gate and off the road, into the big city." On the way, he did not hurt a single person, directly broke into Nian Qianyao's home and jumped on the house. At dawn, the officers and soldiers rushed to Nian's house, fired shotguns, and drove the tigers out of the house.
Unexpectedly, the tiger ran into the garden of the elderly, and finally the officers and soldiers arrived and stabbed him to death with a gun. Before telling this story, the Yongzheng Emperor said that "Nian Tangyao's curse is not yet decided", "Four or five days ago, Nian Qianyao's intention has been decided", and decided not to kill Nian Tangyao. However, after this "miracle", the Yongzheng Emperor said: "Nian Tang Yao, the meaning of the Fa-rectification is decided", "such a manifestation shows that it is more and more fearful".
The tiger ran into Nian Qianyao's house, why did the Yongzheng Emperor want to kill him? The Yongzheng Emperor explained to Cai Jue: "I have a dream scene in the first year of the Yuan, but I don't know if I can tell you about it?" However, the Yongzheng Emperor did not explicitly say the content of his dream. There is also a saying that Nian Qianyao was born with the sign of a white tiger. All in all, the Yongzheng Emperor believed that the tiger running into Nian Qianyao's home was a warning from heaven, "a rare thing in ancient and modern times."
Nian Qianyao shook his tail and begged for mercy to the Yongzheng Emperor, and wrote a letter, "Except for the conversion of life and sincerely asking for the master, the subject has no way to live", "Prostrate and mourn, hope that the master will give grace, and the subject is overwhelmed and whimpering." The Yongzheng Emperor did not give any instructions to this letter. It can be seen that at this time, the Yongzheng Emperor had already made up his mind to get rid of Nian Qianyao, but at this time, Nian Guifei was still there.
By December 11 of the third year of Yongzheng, half a month after the death of Concubine Nian, Nian Qianyao had convicted ninety-two major sins, and was finally given death by the Yongzheng Emperor. So is the tiger running into nian's house really or not? I am afraid that the Yongzheng Emperor is exaggerating. At present, only the Records of the Yongxian And the Yongzheng Emperor's Zhu Zhizhi are recorded.
The Yongzheng Emperor always liked to exaggerate his words, and a little thing would make a storm in the city, and use these small things to catch the wind and catch the shadow and evolve it into a political means to achieve his political goals. Judging from the character of the Yongzheng Emperor, since he had already decided to get rid of Nian Qianyao, he would never be merciful, so it was inevitable that Nian Qianyao would be given death. After the death of the Yongzheng Emperor, the Qianlong Emperor did not record this matter at all when he compiled the Yongzheng Dynasty Imperial Decree Files.
