A tower appeared in front of the bus.

And the Qiantang River on the left side of the car window also hinted to me that this is an unusual place.

My heart moved, as if it had arrived!

Usually this time because of the photography activities to Hangzhou, leisure time to visit the West Lake, now ready to go to the Liuhe Pagoda, where the West Lake is also a few stops away.

The target is Lu Zhishen's tomb.

Legend has it that more than 1100 years ago, a Mid-Autumn Festival night.

On the banks of the Qiantang River in Hangzhou, in Liuhe Temple, a thrilling thing happened.

Lu Zhishen, who was stationed here, was asleep in the temple, and was suddenly awakened in the middle of the night, and he heard a thunderous sound outside, thinking that it was the beating of war drums and the thieves who came to attack, so he raised his Zen staff, drank heavily, and rushed out.

The monks were taken aback and all came to ask, "Why is Master like this?" Where to go? Lu Zhishen said, "I can hear the drums of war, and I am going to go out and fight." All the monks laughed and said, "Master misheard!" It is not the drums of war, it is the tide of the Qiantang River. ”

Lu Zhishen, hearing this, was taken aback and asked, "What is the tide letter ringing?" The monks replied, "It is august 15th, and the tide is coming when the three sons are together." ”

It turned out that the tide of the Qiantang River was coming.

Lu Zhi listened deeply, meditated for a moment, and suddenly laughed: "Elder Zhizhen, Master Zhizhen, once instructed me to pay me four words, that is, "every summer and capture", I was in the Wansong Forest, I captured a Xiahou Cheng alive; "when I meet The wax and cling", I catch Fang La; today I responded to "listening to the tide and round, seeing the letter and being silent", I want to be in the tide of faith, and I want to be round and silent. ”

Now, bathe and change clothes, burn incense and meditate, and write a hymn:

"In ordinary life, I don't cultivate good fruits, but only love to kill people and set fires." Suddenly, the golden rope was opened, and the jade lock was torn off here. Hey! The tide on the Qiantang River came, and today Fang knows that I am me. ”

By the time Song Jiang and a group of Liangshan generals arrived, he was already sitting on the Zen chair in the Fa Hall, motionless.

It was over.

This is almost the most legendary passage in "Water Margin", leaving countless suspense and conjectures for posterity.

When we arrived at The Six Harmony Towers, it was exactly 10 a.m.

There was a slight mist on the Moon Wheel Mountain, but the sun was good, shining on the stone path leading to liuhe Pagoda between the pine forests, sprinkled with dappled light and shadow.

After entering the scenic spot, because it is not a weekend, there are few tourists. Usually did not climb the tower, but began a journey of exploration.

Look for the legendary land of Lu Zhishen.

Liuhe Pagoda is located on the edge of the Qiantang River, standing on the cliff can see the mighty Qiantang River in front of you, it is said that every year in the Mid-Autumn Festival, when the Tide of the Qiantang River strikes, it is a sea of people, and it is difficult to find a ticket.

But today it is as quiet as ever, with no tourists.

There is a temple next to The Rokuwa Pagoda, with a new lacquered wood, which is said to be the site of Kaihua Temple. But now it has become an exhibition hall, which displays various material pictures, plaques, etc.

Kaihua Temple used to have a name, called Liuhe Temple.

That is, the legendary land of Lu Zhi's deep silence...

There was a young female staff member at the door, sitting there looking at her phone.

I looked around the museum without any relevant information about Lu Zhishen, so I asked her about Lu Zhishen's tomb, and the female staff member seemed to laugh after listening to it, and then said seriously: "How can there be his tomb?" However, there is a statue of him on the back hill. ”

My mind buzzed.

I suddenly realized that I had made a serious mistake.

After I quit, I quickly checked the information, and sure enough. I have confused the line between history and fiction, and all the information clearly shows that Lu Zhishen is only a fictional character in the novel.

Faint!

On a flat dam on the back hill of the Liuhe Pagoda Scenic Area, there are three statues.

On the left is the portrait of King Qian, and on the right is the statue of Wu Song, which is the Wu Erlang in "Water Margin". And in the middle there was a big fat monk, holding a Zen staff in his right hand and his left hand to his ear, as if he was listening to something...

Yes, he was listening to the tide.

This is the protagonist of my visit, Lu Zhishen.

Next to him stood a sign that read: Lu Zhi is deeply silent. It is written the story of Lu Zhishen's death in the Liuhe Pagoda, and also writes that his bones were buried in the pagoda courtyard of liuhe temple.

However, there are several big characters next to it, called "Liuhe Allusions".

Hmmm, that's a legend.

Behind the statue of Lu Zhishen is a barren mountain with some pagodas, but few people walk, and the grass is overgrown, which looks quite cold.

Lu Zhishen statue is accompanied by the statue of Wu Song, in the novel "Water Margin", Wu Song also became a monk at Liuhe Temple after Lu Zhishen's death, and has been guarding the tombs of Lu Zhishen and Lin Chong (also buried in Liuhe Temple) until he was eighty years old, which is one of the few generals in Liangshan who have a good death. To this day, on the side of the Xiling Bridge in the West Lake, there is also a Wusong Tomb, which reads "Song Yishi Wusong Tomb".

And the real history is that this Wusong is not another Wusong.

History and legend are often intertwined and confusing. This is to blame the novel "Water Margin" for being written too vividly and vividly, spreading too widely and too deeply, so that it confuses the boundary between truth and fiction, so that we often fall into the fog of fictional history and are unwilling to withdraw.

For example, the controversy over Lu Zhishen's mysterious and roundabout has never stopped.

Lu Zhishen had been killing people like a hemp all his life, so how could he see through the devastation of life and death, put down the butcher's knife, and become a Buddha on the ground?

This may have been in response to his master Elder Zhizhen's evaluation of him: "This man should be on the heavenly stars, and his heart is straight. Although the current fierceness and fate are mixed, after a long time, it is pure and the positive results are extraordinary. Ru and so on are not as good as him. ”

And his steel powder, Li Yan of the Ming Dynasty, used fifteen words when commenting on Lu Zhishen:

Benevolent, Homo sapiens, brave man, saint, god man, bodhisattva, arhat, Buddha.

It was a blushing heartbeat.

Some people will say that Lu Zhishen is a reckless man, why is he so highly evaluated?

That means that you really didn't understand "Water Margin".

Lu Zhishen's life trajectory is roughly as follows:

The appearance is the lower-level officer Lu Tizhi, drinking wine and eating meat, making friends to kill the town of Kansai with three fists, saving Jin Cuilian's father and daughter to embark on the road of escape to Wutai Mountain to make a big fuss about Wutai Mountain twice, turning to the Great Xiangguo Temple to play Zhou Tong, angrily leaving the Peach Blossom Mountain Great Xiangguo Temple upside down to get acquainted with Lin Chong, escorting Lin Chong to lose the iron rice bowl and wandering the rivers and lakes, getting acquainted with Yang Zhizhi, taking the Erlong Mountain Sanshan Juyi, breaking Qingzhou, going to Liangshan to accept the invitation, returning to Wutai Mountain in the Southern Expedition to the Northern War to see Master Sheng Fang La lining the tide.

What can you read from this?

He was a true man of righteousness.

When they encounter unfair things, they help each other, regardless of each other's origins, regardless of remuneration, and even reckless consequences, they mess up their own iron rice bowl and end up with the consequences of desperation. In the eyes of Jin Cuilian's father and daughter, Liu Taigong's daughter, and Lin Chong of the wild boar forest, he was like a living "Buddha" who fell from the sky, and only he could save him.

As a jianghu saying goes: "Lao Tzu helps people, very pure, don't reciprocate." ”

He was still a man without concern.

In this regard, there is a wonderful description in "Dream of the Red Chamber". Once Xue Baochao had a birthday spot in "Lu Zhi was deeply drunk and haunted Wutai Mountain". Among them, the song "Parasitic Grass" sings: "Tears of the hero, away from the virgin's home." Xie Mercy, shaved under the lotus platform. There is no fate, and the blink of an eye is separated. Red stripes, coming and going without concern. Where to please, smoke and rain rolls a single line? One term, the man's shoes are broken! ”

Hearing this, Bao Yu was stunned, laying the groundwork for his future monasticism.

This section of singing can be said to be a state of life written by Lu Zhishen. Including his final silence, it is also said to go away, there is no nostalgia, it can be called a determination.

He is also a man with deep wisdom roots.

The ninety-ninth time in the "Water Margin" writes that when he was beating Tian Hu, Lu Zhishen fell into a strange well and came to a worldly immortal source, and met a monk in the grass nunnery to guide him to zen, and the monk read a Zen phrase that questioned his teeth, and Lu Zhishen, who did not know a few big characters, actually understood it at once, "The Shang family listened to his words clearly, and hoped that the monk sang a big one." ”

The monk also said to him, "Break up from now on and meet again later." ”

Lu Zhishen later described it to Dai Zong as "meeting a monk like a sprinkler", which was full of philosophical speculation.

In fact, the monk Lu Zhishen met was his future self.

In ordinary times, the name "Lu Zhishen" has a deep meaning, reckless on the surface, but in fact has far-reaching wisdom. In this life, he killed people and set fires, happy to take revenge, but his nature vacated, saving the suffering and saving the suffering, and finally ended with a round silence, which became an immortal legend.

The "Shunzhi Guishan Poem" once wrote: "Who was I who was not born to me, who was I when I was born, who was I when I was born, who was I when I grew up, who was hazy with my eyes." ”

When Lu Zhishen was about to die, he had already realized that "I am me", which has a deep Zen philosophical meaning, which can be described as a great achievement.

But if it does not seek, it will achieve positive results.

Someone wrote a poem for him:

The Zen staff opens the road of life and death, and the sword kills all the unfair people. Shui Po Liang Shan is really a good man, and the fake monk is really Buddha Lu Zhi Shen.

Truly enlightened!

In Liuhe Pagoda Back Mountain, I met a middle-aged woman from a small shop.

I asked her if there were any traces of Lu Zhishen's correlation in the scenic spot.

She said thoughtfully, "I heard some tourists say that it seems that there is a tablet of Lu Zhishen on the Liuhe Pagoda." ”

After I thanked him, I began to search for the tower.

There are thirteen floors on the outside of these six and towers, but in fact, the interior is seven floors, and each floor is connected by a spiral staircase, connected by a passage in the middle, and there are various inscription carvings next to it, which are stacked on top of each other, like a labyrinth.

I searched for Lu Zhishen's tablets layer by layer, exploring in the light and shadow of the corridor, flickering in the light and darkness, as if traveling through the gap of history, but I failed to find anything. After inquiring to the security guards, they were all dazed. Until you reach the top, you will never get anything.

But the scenery here is excellent, and the scenery seen from each window has its own image.

The Qiantang River below meanders, calm and docile, and it is completely impossible to imagine the monstrous waves when it is tyrannical, the tide rises and falls, like the fantasy life of some people fighting and killing, and finally returning to the empty nirvana...
