After the launch, BOE said it would supply a flexible display for Honor's first folding flagship Magic V series phone.

BOE said that the newly listed Glory Magic V series inner screen is equipped with BOE's 7.91-inch flexible OLED display, using BOE's first innovative integrated tailoring process to ensure that the overall narrow border display of the folding screen achieves the best narrow border effect of the folding screen dynamic, and the screen display area accounts for up to 95% (based on module measurements). Coupled with the first 40nm touch IC in China, it supports 240Hz high report point rate, so that the screen has a more sensitive touch response, so that users can get a smooth folding large screen experience. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the Honor Magic V series 6.45-inch 44-degree micro-curved outer screen supplied by BOE overcomes the difficulty of fitting process, and the screen line design is smooth, taking into account the grip and display aesthetics. At the same time, it supports the highest 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz ultra-high reporting point rate, which also brings the ultimate screen display and touch experience.

BOE said that the flexible OLED screen supplied for the Honor Magic V series has also reached the industry-leading level in terms of health eye protection, using a 1920Hz UHF PWM dimming mode, up to 2160Hz high frequency PWM dimming, in a low-light environment can minimize the potential harm of screen strobe to the eyes. At the same time, it is equipped with BOE flexible OLED low blue light technology, which greatly reduces the proportion of harmful blue light generated by the screen to 6.3%, which is much lower than the industry average, thereby effectively reducing the damage to the eyes.
