On May 5, Visionox, an A-share listed company in the display industry, held a new technology conference in 2022. With the theme of "Wanxiang Update, Create the Future", the conference released the latest round of innovative achievements in the cloud for the world. This batch of innovative achievements includes nearly 20 innovative technological achievements such as five categories, EnV ALT low-frequency LTPS, InV tripod ding-type arrangement, HLEMS light production technology, COE polarizer-free technology, and true full-screen face recognition module. The release was led by Zhang Deqiang, chairman of Visionox, and 5 technical experts Cai Minghan, Shan Qi, Zhang Wei, Xiao Yiming, and Cao Xuan, respectively, from the five dimensions of form qiqiang, performance enhancement, integration and strengthening, expansion and innovation, and track opening.

In view of the development of the next five years, Zhang Deqiang first elaborated on Visionox's "one strong, two new" development strategy, that is, to build a strong foundation of small size, expand new fields of medium size, and open up new tracks of large size; for the development of the next ten years, put forward the "2345" development framework. That is, 2 main lines of industry - OLED industry, Micro-LED industry; 3 core technologies - optics and materials, semiconductor devices, system integration; 4 major innovation bases - Yangtze River Delta base, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei base, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area base, Chengdu-Chongqing base; 5 types of product applications - intelligent terminals, vehicle interaction, smart home, industrial control medical, innovative commercial.

In terms of form qiqiang, Visionox revealed that through the use of new circuit design and FIAA technology, the border will be reduced from 1.4mm to 1.0mm; in addition, through the optimization of folding form, stacking module thinning, module material optimization, etc., narrower border, more invisible crease, and smaller folding/curl radius will be realized.

In terms of performance enhancement, Visionox mainly reduces power consumption through "three actions to reduce power consumption", namely low-frequency LTPS technology, HLEMS light output technology and COE polarizer-free polarizer technology, mainly from the perspective of driving mode and improving light efficiency.

At the same time, through the original advanced solution of Ding-type pixel arrangement- "Double Ding-row", the screen display is more delicate, sharper and more uniform. With the promotion and application of new technologies, it is expected that the next generation of smartphones will have qualitative improvements in portability, screen ratio, optical performance, screen power consumption, and off-screen cameras.

In terms of integration, Visionox has launched the world's first under-screen camera solution InV see in 2020, and this time released its latest advanced version - "InV see 3D face recognition full screen", as well as PIN optical fingerprint recognition solution. The two technologies make the smartphone recognition system develop in the direction of higher information security, more convenient user experience, and better flexible display compatibility.

In terms of expansion and innovation, Visionox has developed laminated OLED technology and aging compensation technology, and conducted in-depth research in basic technologies such as oxide display backplanes and Demura. Based on these basic performance improvements, AMOLED can be used in medium-size applications. Visionox showcased a flexible under-screen camera solution for notebook computers, which, combined with 1.8mm ultra-narrow bezel technology, increased the screen ratio from 85% of traditional laptops to 91%. In terms of medium-sized automotive applications, Visionox has cooperated with a number of automotive brands to launch customized OLED in-vehicle display products, such as dashboards, electronic rearview mirrors, central controls, transparent A-pillars, etc.

In the chapter of "opening a new track", Visionox said that it is actively "expanding the new field of medium size" and "opening up new tracks of large size". Visionox began working on micro-LED technology reserves in 2017. At present, Visionox has built a Micro-LED pilot line, and successfully launched a Micro-LED wearable sample with 1.84-inch retina-level pixel resolution and a 12.7-inch glass-based Micro-LED splicing screen sample.
