Changan Automobile's cumulative sales in 2021 exceeded 2.3 million units, up 14.82% year-on-year

On January 10, Changan Automobile announced its 2021 sales data, with cumulative sales of about 2.3005 million units for the whole year, an increase of 14.82% year-on-year; cumulative sales of Changan Chinese brand vehicles were about 1.7547 million units, an increase of 16.7% year-on-year; and sales of Changan Chinese brand passenger cars in 2021 were about 1.2042 million units, an increase of 23.08% year-on-year.

Specifically, the cumulative sales of the CS75 series exceeded 280,000 vehicles in the whole year; the cumulative sales of the Yidong series exceeded 170,000 vehicles; the cumulative sales of the CS55 series exceeded 140,000 vehicles; the cumulative sales of the CS35 series exceeded 80,000 vehicles; and the cumulative sales of the UNI series exceeded 120,000 vehicles.

Over the past year, the product camp of UNI high-end sequences has been expanding. A few days ago, the first UNI-K iDD equipped with the Blue Whale iDD hybrid system has opened pre-sale, and the pre-sale price range is 176,900 to 192,900 yuan. Prior to this, the 2022 UNI-T 2.0T model has also been launched, and four models have been launched in the whole series, with a price range of 137,900 to 149,900 yuan.

In addition to UNI-K and UNI-T, the first sedan based on the Ark architecture upgrade, UNI-V, officially opened for pre-order on January 10 and is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2022. At the same time, Avita 11, jointly built by Changan Automobile, Huawei and CATL, will also be listed in 2022. Jiang Xueqing, an analyst at Orient Securities, said: "It is expected that UNI-V and Avita 11 are expected to help Changan's own brands accelerate transformation and upward upgrading after their listing. ”

While expanding the product camp, UNI Service brand experience space has been established in Chongqing, Nanjing, Qingdao, Beijing and Changsha. Based on different car use scenarios and experience needs, UNI Service Brand Experience Space has launched three offline formats: brand experience space, self-made space and workshop.

In addition, Changan Auchan sold 228,000 vehicles in 2021, 180,000 vehicles in the Kaicheng brand, 130,000 vehicles in Changan Mazda, and 300,000 vehicles in Changan Ford.

In terms of new energy vehicles, Changan Automobile's cumulative sales of E-Star exceeded 70,000 units in the whole year. At the end of 2021, Ben E-Star suffered a "difficulty in picking up the car" storm due to chip and battery shortages. Wang Jun, president of Changan Automobile, said: "At present, in the face of the situation of customer order waiting caused by the 'lack of core' in the automotive industry, Changan Automobile is undergoing a series of transformation and upgrading, taking the lead in launching the scene to squat and grab goods, and has signed a guarantee agreement with 1160 suppliers to accumulate 1.2 million chips and reserve chips through sweeping and hoarding, and locking 3.17GWh of battery resources. ”
