An insider of Changan Automobile told Red Star Capital Bureau: "The dismissal and re-optimization of all the general managers and middle and senior management personnel of the department involve a wide range of aspects and great strength, which is unprecedented. ”

It is understood that the tenure system employment of senior personnel of Changan Automobile will be carried out through the inventory throughout the company, and a comprehensive review will be carried out from the aspects of youthfulness, knowledge structure, personality characteristics, and female proportion, and will be approved and hired according to the relevant procedures for selection and appointment.

The company will dismiss and re-employ all the general manager-level personnel of the second-level units. The recruitment of the position of general manager (unit head) is carried out through the method of "self-recommendation + communication brewing + organizational recommendation". L15 level and above deputy general manager level personnel, current general manager level for self-recommendation, in charge of the company leaders put forward candidate suggestions. The employment of deputy general managers and manager-level positions is selected and recruited by the leaders and general managers of the company in charge through the method of "communication and brewing + organizational recommendation". Unappropriated persons will be referred to Chang'an Learning Center.

"In essence, it is the implementation of the 'cabinet' system. Give the company's leaders in charge and general managers greater autonomy to the members of the unit team, cadres can go up and down, let the right people flow to the right posts, so that the 'capable people are up, the mediocre are down, and the inferior are eliminated' the intensity is greater, so that people who want officers to be able to do things have a bigger stage. Changan Automobile insiders said.

The new competition was launched on February 8, the general manager (unit head) position was completed on February 9, the deputy general manager and non-manufacturing unit manager position were completed on February 10, and the manufacturing unit manager position was completed on February 13, and the vacant position without suitable candidates was completed.

Since the release of its third venture in 2017, Changan Automobile has developed a good momentum.

In 2020, Changan Automobile Group, including its joint ventures, sold 2,003,700 vehicles, an increase of 13.98% year-on-year, exceeding the target of 1.91 million units, and is one of the few listed car companies that has achieved positive growth and double-digit growth. Among them, the sales of Changan Chinese brand cars exceeded 1.5 million units, an increase of 12.9% year-on-year, and the sales of Changan Chinese brand passenger cars exceeded 12.9% year-on-year, an increase of 20.6%.

In 2021, Changan Automobile reached a higher level, with cumulative sales of about 2.3005 million units in the whole year, an increase of 14.82% year-on-year. Among them, the annual sales of Changan Chinese brand cars exceeded 1.75 million units, an increase of 16.7% year-on-year; the annual sales of Changan Chinese brand passenger cars exceeded 1.2 million units, up 23.1% year-on-year, ranking third among independent brands.

For Changan Automobile's dismissal of all senior personnel and re-recruitment, Changan Automobile said that this marks the company's further establishment and improvement of the market-oriented operation mechanism and has achieved phased results. Zhu Huarong, chairman of Changan Automobile, said, "It is not that our cadre team is not capable, but that we are facing a new round of competition pattern and need to reconstruct new capabilities." ”

It is worth mentioning that in 2017, FAW Group also conducted a re-recruitment of all senior personnel. Referring to FAW Group, some insiders believe that the re-recruitment of all senior personnel of Changan Automobile is intended to "reorganize the business line and lay off employees in disguise".
