As Du Yuesheng's youngest son, he was deeply loved by his father, and later brought to Hong Kong by Du Yuesheng and received a good education. After his father's death, he was taken to Taiwan by his mother, and after completing his secondary education, he went to Australia to study.
Under the influence of his father, Du Weishan became a wise figure very early, he met many friends through work-study during his study in Australia, and later in business, he was also able to smooth down, and soon became a small famous rich man. In 1991, Du Weishan returned to Shanghai and visited the Shanghai Municipal Museum. At that time, the director of the museum personally received him and introduced him to the treasure of the Shanghai Museum, the national first-class cultural relics of the Persian Sassanid Dynasty gold coins. This is a precious artifact on the ancient Silk Road and an area with an extremely rare collection in the National Museum.
Later, after returning home, Du Weishan had been thinking about this matter, and he thought that the state's collection in this regard was too small. Therefore, he then used his strong economic foundation and contacts to start an extensive collection of ancient relics on the Silk Road, and successfully collected a large number of ancient coins. Later, Du Weishan donated more than 2,000 precious ancient coins to the state seven times in total, which filled the gap in this regard for the national collection. It is precisely in this way that Du Weishan's behavior has been praised by the Chinese people, and he has also been awarded the Magnolia Award, a symbol of honor, by the Shanghai Municipality.
