After the truth came out, the two princes were demoted by Daoguang and severely punished. As for the craftsmen, they were even more miserable, and almost all of them were beheaded. It was also because of this accident that the tomb of the Daoguang Emperor was finally moved to the Qingxi Mausoleum.
