At the time of Lapa Ba, the people in the capital went to the Lama Temple to drink Laba Porridge, and today they will come to understand the Lama Temple.

The Lama Temple is located in the northeast corner of downtown Beijing, and the original site of the Lama Temple was the official residence of the Ming eunuchs. In the thirty-third year of the Qing Dynasty (1694), the Kangxi Emperor built a mansion here and gave his fourth son, prince Yong, the title of Prince Yong.wangfu.
In the third year of Yongzheng (1725), the palace was changed to a palace, called Lama Temple. In the thirteenth year of Yongzheng (1735), Yongzheng died, and the coffin was parked here, so the original green glazed tiles of the main hall of the Lama Temple were changed to yellow glazed tiles. Because the Qianlong Emperor was born here, the Lama Temple produced two emperors and became the "Dragon Diving Blessed Land", so the temple was a yellow tile red wall, the same specifications as the Forbidden City Imperial Palace.
In the ninth year of Qianlong (1744), the Lama Temple was converted into a lama temple, and the special prime minister wang was appointed to manage the affairs of the palace, with no fixed number. It can be said that the Lama Temple was the highest standard Buddhist temple in the country in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.
In March 1961, the Lama Temple was listed by the State Council as one of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units in China.
The Lama Temple is composed of five magnificent halls, such as the Hall of the Heavenly King, the Hall of the Lama Temple, the Hall of Yongyou, the Hall of The Wheel of Fame, and the Hall of Wanfu Pavilion, as well as the Hall of East and West And the Hall of the Four Studies (The Hall of The Pulp, the Hall of Tantra, the Hall of Mathematics, and the Hall of medicine). The entire building layout courtyard gradually shrinks from south to north, while the temple rises sequentially.
