Henan added 56 new locally confirmed cases on January 8

From 0 to 24:00 on January 8, there were 56 new locally confirmed cases in the province (11 cases in Zhengzhou City, 2 cases in Luoyang City, 2 cases in Anyang City, 1 case in Huaxian County, 39 cases in Xuchang City, 1 case in Shangqiu City; 3 cases of asymptomatic infected people were transferred to confirmed cases, 2 cases in Luoyang City, and 1 case in Shangqiu City); 3 new cases of transfigured cases of asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad; 1 case of asymptomatic infection imported from abroad; no new suspected cases; 1 case of locally confirmed cases was cured and discharged from hospital.

From January 21, 2020 to 24:00 on January 8, 2022, the province has reported a cumulative total of 1,880 confirmed cases (1,743 local cases, 137 imported from abroad), and 256 existing hospitalized cases (243 cases in china and 13 cases imported from abroad). There is 1 asymptomatic infected person under medical observation (1 case imported from abroad). A total of 53,892 close contacts have been traced, and 4,616 close contacts are under observation.
