Puyi and his wife ate "longevity noodles" together and then sat down and left, and the ceremony on the first day of the wedding ended.

After Puyi was busy with the outside socializing, the ancients often said that "a moment of spring supper is worth thousands of gold", but after Puyi returned to the cave room, he looked at the beautiful grace. On the wedding night, Puyi should have spent it with Wanrong, but Puyi returned to the Yangxin Hall and left the bride. In "The First Half of My Life", written by Puyi himself, there is a description like this: "Entering this dark red room, I felt very breathless, and I was not even interested in what the bride looked like." The room was so dark that I couldn't see it clearly. She sat on the kang, with her head bowed, I looked at the side for a while, this phoenix crown Xia Shuai, full of glass-like reflections, a silent queen, made me feel very strange, I looked around again, this very unaccustomed environment, I couldn't help but hold my breath very much, I didn't sit, I didn't stand, I thought of my Yangxin Hall. ”
The Temple of nourishing hearts
Puyi and Wanrong spent two years of happy time in the Forbidden City. As a queen, WanRong is very fond of new things, such as horseback riding, Western food, making friends abroad, and learning English. However, the good times did not last long, and in the days that followed Bo Yi, a gap gradually arose between WanRong and Puyi. A sexless marriage, empty of the false name of a queen, a graceful life like a pool of stagnant water, and soon suffered from depression.
So why is the marriage between Puyi and Wanrong a sexless marriage?
This has to start from 1909, when Puyi, who was not yet three years old at the time, entered the palace according to Cixi's will before his death and became the emperor of the Qing Dynasty. But it wasn't long before the Qing court perished in a rapid wave of change throughout the country. According to the agreement, the young Puyi could still enjoy the treatment of an emperor in the small imperial court of the Forbidden City. As the only real man in the Forbidden City, the young Puyi actually became the object of relief for palace women and eunuchs. Day after day, this experience caused him a lot of damage.
In 1924, Feng Yuxiang launched the "Beijing positive change", when Puyi and Wanrong had not yet enjoyed much gold and jade food, they were driven out of the Forbidden City by the party army, Puyi and Wanrong lived in Tianjin, before that, although the two did not have much love to speak of, but also lived very harmoniously, plus Wanrong looked good, but also deeply favored by Puyi, but after arriving in Tianjin, Wanrong's temperament changed greatly, psychologically, Wanrong was sullen all the time, physiologically, some could not be satisfied, such a double blow, Coupled with the clothing that had to be changed, wearing Western-style clothing, Wanrong could only rely on shopping in various department stores every day to alleviate it, anyway, it was Puyi who paid, that is, from then on, Puyi's feelings for her were also decreasing.

At the end of 1931, Wanrong was lured to Manchuria, on the way to Manchuria by her brother for some benefits betrayed to a Japanese officer, and was humiliated by the Japanese officer, which is also a precursor to Wanrong's adultery, to Manchuria, Wanrong's life is monitored by the Japanese everywhere, and sometimes insulted by the Japanese, which makes her feel no happiness, so she wants to escape from here, but it backfires, and finally she is completely desperate. Gradually, she began to smoke and was groggy all day. In the cold weather of the northeast, the lonely Wanrong also hopes to have someone to accompany her when she is mentally normal, and to warm up her life. One after another, a bodyguard named Qi Jizhong entered her life. This guard is "deeply in love" with Wanrong. Qi Jizhong is Puyi's personal bodyguard, and Puyi trusts him. Therefore, Qi Jizhong could meet WanRong without hindrance. The relationship between the two lasted for a long time, but it was never discovered by Puyi. Later, Qi Jizhong was sent to study at the Japanese Army Non-Commissioned Officer School, so he had to leave the northeast, and the dirty story between him and WanRong had to end.
Qi Jizhong left the northeast after receiving Puyi's sealing fee. He went to the puppet government of North China to serve as a traitor, and after the Japanese surrendered, they were shot.
WanRong stole the pistachios and became more and more uncontrollable. After Qi Jizhong left, she hooked up with Li Tiyu again. Li Tiyu is Puyi's chief bodyguard. Li Tiyu is tall and powerful, and his appearance is also very handsome. After getting better, the two often played together, and Wanrong also felt a rare tenderness and happiness. During that time, maids and eunuchs often saw a rare smile on Wanrong's face. But Puyi still ignored Wanrong, so although Wanrong had an affair with two men, he had not been aware of it.

In 1935, Wanrong's stomach grew bigger day by day, Puyi finally learned about Wanrong's adultery with others, when Wanrong was about to give birth, the ignorant Puyi suddenly found himself green, Puyi wrote in "The First Half of My Life": "In 1935, because Wanrong was pregnant and was close to giving birth, I knew that something was wrong." The baby girl was handed over to Puyi, who directly threw her into the boiler, and then told Wanrong that the child had been given to your brother for foster care, and Wanrong had been foolishly thinking that her child was still alive and did not know the truth until she died.
Puyi originally wanted to divorce Wanrong and depose her as empress. However, the Japanese did not agree, they did not want to publicize this scandal, so they adopted a low-key treatment, originally wanted to kill Puyi, in the end because to save the face of the Qing royal family and their own dignity, can only knock out their teeth and swallow in the stomach. Puyi, who had no choice but to dismiss Qi Jizhong and Li Tiyu, gave them a sealing fee of 400 oceans each, and let them go away. Wanrong was also completely beaten into the cold palace and began a decade-long life of seclusion. Since then, Wan Rong has smoked a lot of cigarettes every day and has been in a trance all day.
In early December 1945, Linjiang was liberated and Wanrong became a prisoner. At this time, Wanrong was already incontinent, her body was full of, urine, and menstruation, and the smell in the cell was stinking, so no one dared to go near her.
On June 20, 1946, at 5 a.m., the prison inspectors found Wanrong lying motionless on the cement floor, frozen for a long time. The exact time of her death is clearly recorded in a preserved original register: "She died at 5 o'clock in the afternoon of June 20" at the age of 39. The relics left behind by the last queen, except for the most precious smoking gun, are only a water mirror.
What is even more lamentable is that her burial place is unknown, no one has helped her deal with the aftermath, and her body has been forgotten in the stinky ditch. I don't know who gave a mat, casually wrapped it and threw it on the mountain, and then the bones were nowhere to be found.

When Puyi was dying, he hoped that his ashes could be buried with Wanrong. Wanrong's younger brother did not finally agree to his will until October 23, 2006, and Wanrong's younger brother Runqi could only bury his sister with Puyi in the form of a summoning soul. The Ai Xin Jue Luo family once gave her and Puyi the title of Empress Xiao Ke (mǐn), but this was only determined by the family. It is a pity that a beautiful person like a flower ended up with such an ending.
