There is a wonderful peak on the northwestern outskirts of Beijing. During the reign of Emperor Jin Zhangzong, he built a monastery here, called "Perfume Temple". Later, the place was renamed "Tomb of the Seven Kings". It turned out that at the end of the Qing Dynasty, Yi Zhen, the younger brother of the Xianfeng Emperor, took a fancy to this place and built his own mausoleum here.

Yizhen was the grandson of the Jiaqing Emperor, the seventh son of the Daoguang Emperor, the younger brother of the Xianfeng Emperor, the father of the Guangxu Emperor, and the grandfather of the Xuantong Emperor. His grandfather, father, brother, brother, son, grandson are all emperors, and he himself is only a prince, I don't know if this is his misfortune or his luck?
He was the first Prince of The Qing Dynasty, and during the reign of his brother Emperor Xianfeng, he married Cixi's sister Yehenara. Wan Zhen is Consort Fujin. After the death of the Xianfeng Emperor, Cixi and Prince Gong Yi launched the "Xin You Coup". Yi Zhen personally grabbed Sushun in Miyun and escorted him to Beijing. He contributed to Cixi's successful implementation of the coup d'état in the final moments. Yi Zhen also became Cixi's most trusted person. In the eleventh year of Tongzhi, he was crowned the Prince of Alcohol, and in the thirteenth year of The Tongzhi Emperor, the only son of Empress Dowager Cixi, the 19-year-old Tongzhi Emperor, drove to the west, and Cixi, because of his trust in Yizhen, supported his second son Zai Xiang to inherit the throne, that is, the Guangxu Emperor. She knew Empress Dowager Cixi and racked her brains to curry favor with Cixi, and even so, after her son Zai Xiang was put on the throne by Cixi, he began to be snubbed by Cixi.
At that time, Yi Zhen missed the position of crown prince because the fourth son of the emperor, later the Xianfeng Emperor, was a concubine, and his ability was outstanding, and he was very prestigious in the dynasty, whether in terms of identity or talent, he was not qualified to compete with him, and could only give the throne to others. Although he did not become an emperor, it was not bad to be a prince who was valued by the emperor, and Yi Zhen was a person with great political and military talents, but fate would not let him go so easily.
Later, his son inexplicably became emperor, and the most embarrassing person was the Prince of Alcohol, Yi Zhen, who knew that Cixi regarded her son as a political puppet, and how could Yi Zhen, as Zai Xiang's biological father, be willing to let his own son be toyed with by others, which was also a problem that Cixi was worried about, so after Zai Xiang succeeded to the throne, Cixi regarded him as a thorn in his eye, tried to alienate him, and transferred him away from Beijing. Trying to use distance to block the connection between him and Guangxu, Yi Zhen's life was turbulent and displaced, and not many people in history can remember his name. I could have lived a leisurely life, but I didn't think that God was such a joke.
In 1890, yizhen, who was terminally ill, had no cure and was in danger, and completed his life accompanied by the Guangxu Emperor. Not long after Yi Zhen, the Guangxu Emperor also died, and since the Guangxu Emperor was childless, Cixi chose Yi Zhen's grandson to succeed to the throne, that is, the last emperor Puyi, among the sons of the clan.
