Hello everyone, I am Guo Zichang, Grade 19 of Chinese Language and Literature of grammar school. When people ask me what my major is, I am more inclined to say that my major is "reading", because reading books is my duty. Talking about my reading feelings, there are mainly these points.
First of all, accumulate less into more, read more good books, and pay attention to the improvement of reading. The last thing you should read is performance, and you can't measure the amount of reading as a unique indicator. But on the other hand, without the accumulation of reading, it is difficult for us to have any substantial leap in understanding.
Third, cultivate critical thinking. In fact, it's important to make judgments in your reading. Reading is not just about acquiring knowledge, but about improving cognition, thinking, and vision. The knowledge we gain through reading can also be obtained by others. So where is the uniqueness and value of our reading? I think it's critical thinking, not being paranoid. Maybe we have just read a point of view and think it is very agreeable, but when we expand our cognitive scope, things become diverse and present a colorful landscape. I think that's the joy of reading. Dare to deny the author, but also dare to reflect and deny their own conceit, so that we are not only to acquire knowledge, but more likely to create knowledge.
Finally, to borrow a phrase from the aesthetician Mr. Zhu Guangqian, "Go slowly and appreciate it.". Reading must not be rushed, of course, this kind of hasty does not mean not to read or rarely to read. What I'm saying is to slow yourself down appropriately. In the utilitarian professional reading, occasionally with a non-utilitarian attitude, to read some interesting books, meet more interesting souls. Slowly cultivate your own reading habits, so that reading becomes a normal thing, a normal thing.
All in all, read more good books. I think the greatest joy that reading brings is not just how much knowledge and cultivation we have gained, it may be incidental.
