Tesla's showroom in Xinjiang was criticized, and the Foreign Ministry responded

Wang Wenbin said that I have noted the US side's claim that it should not turn a blind eye to what is happening in Xinjiang. Since December 2018, more than 2,000 experts, scholars, journalists, diplomats and other people from more than 100 countries and regions have visited Xinjiang and witnessed the development achievements of Social Tranquility, Economic Prosperity and Ethnic Harmony in Xinjiang. Why is the US turning a blind eye to this? At the 46th/47th/48th session of the UN Human Rights Council and the 76th session of the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly held last year, nearly 100 countries spoke out in support of China's position on Xinjiang-related issues and opposed political motives and unreasonable accusations against China based on false information.

For some time now, the media and scholars of France, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, the United States, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Brazil, South Africa, and other countries have published articles pointing out that the so-called "forced labor" and "genocide" in Xinjiang are completely lies created based on prejudice and hostility toward China, and their purpose is not to protect human rights at all, but to suppress and contain China and undermine the unity and stable development of Xinjiang's ethnic unity. Why is the US still turning a blind eye to this?

Wang Wenbin pointed out that the US side has turned a blind eye to the above facts and truths, but has imposed so-called sanctions on Xinjiang based on lies that have long been exposed by the facts. This has once again exposed the true intention of the US side to use human rights as a pretext to carry out economic coercion and political suppression against China. The truth lives on, and justice will triumph. The US side's fabrication of xinjiang-related lies will only make the people of the world more aware of the hypocrisy of its claim to protect human rights and hasten the bankruptcy of its "human rights defenders."
