In the 1980s, an ancient tomb was accidentally unearthed in Guyuan County, Ningxia. This mega-discovery quickly attracted the attention of archaeologists. After arriving at the scene, they found that the place had been destroyed by tomb robbers. In order to minimize the losses as much as possible, the cultural relics experts immediately decided to carry out a protective excavation of the tomb. Soon after, experts cleared out the mud and debris near the tomb. With excitement, everyone was ready to enter the tomb for further exploration. Suddenly, a hailstorm fell, and everyone had to hide. These hailstones come and go fast. Experts determined that the hail had completely ended, and rushed over to continue the excavation work, only to find that the hail had actually rushed out of some mysterious murals.

After many studies, archaeologists have determined the origin of these murals. They are supposed to be things from the Southern and Northern Dynasties period, and there is also a painting of a great general who fought in battle. Experts believe that there is a big man buried underneath, in order to find out his true identity, the expert immediately directed the staff to dig deeper. As a result, when I was halfway digging, there was another accident. The ancient tomb suddenly collapsed, everything inside fell, and after the archaeologists found the abnormality, they quickly took people to escape, and there were no casualties. Archaeologists then reported the anomaly to the local government and asked them to send troops to the rescue.

With the assistance of the soldiers, the work of the archaeologists went much more smoothly, and they soon dug into the depths of the tomb. Because of the sudden collapse, many of the murals in the tomb were destroyed, leaving only about 20 paintings, which made the staff at the scene feel sad. In addition, archaeologists have excavated more than 770 cultural relics from this ancient tomb, each of which has high historical research value. Among these cultural relics, the most valuable are two national treasure-level cultural relics.

Based on these clues, cultural relics experts judged the true identity of the tomb owner, who should be Li Xian, a great general of the Northern Zhou Dynasty. When Emperor Xiaozhuang of the Northern Wei Dynasty was emperor, he often led troops to fight for the imperial court and made many contributions. The scene above the mural vividly restores the historical image of Li Xian. Li Xian was made a general of the Hussars and was later removed from his official position because of his nephew's connections, but he was soon reinstated. After his death, he was posthumously awarded the title of Duke of Xiangguo by the imperial court, and his title was inherited by his son.
